Top 3 Undervalued NFL Fantasy Football Quarterbacks!

Welcome Back! Big Guy Fantasy Sports is thrilled to bring you another year of the best in NFL consistency rankings and championship fantasy football strategy.

Wild NFL quarterback changes make 2025 Fantasy Drafts Perfect for overlooked ADP signal-callers.

When it comes to formulating your 2025 fantasy football draft strategy, the quarterback position seems to be rather polarizing. Some folks are set on the elite QB strategy, while others are content to wait at the position, hoping to land their favorite fantasy football sleeper or breakout candidate.

We all know that the elite quarterbacks are going to be consistent, but who are some quarterbacks outside the top handful that should be consistent producers for fantasy football managers in 2025? I’ll give you three quarterbacks being drafted outside the top 10 fantasy football quarterbacks who could be inside the top 10 in clutch rate by season’s end!

Why Are These NFL Quarterbacks' ADP Ripe For The Picking In 2025 Drafts?

Justin Fields, New York Jets

Say what you want about Justin Fields as a passer, but he always gets it done on the ground, and that’s where fantasy magic happens for quarterbacks! Before being replaced as the starting QB for the Steelers, Fields was 3-for-6 in clutch games to begin the season, and he was the QB6 overall during that span! Across those first six games, while averaging only 184.3 passing yards per game, he had five total rushing scores while averaging just under 40 rushing yards per game. Fields was 53% consistent in 2022 and 62% in 2023, and for the 2025 season, Fields’ clutch rate should be north of 60%, and be a back-end QB1 in fantasy.

C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans

After posting a 60% clutch rate in his rookie season, C.J. Stroud’s clutch rate cratered to 35% in 2024, largely in part to a disappointing offensive line and Bobby Slowik’s inability to make an adjustment. Stroud isn’t free of blame, as he missed some throws and looked uncomfortable, but I believe we can attribute that to the two factors I mentioned earlier. Nick Caley’s offensive scheme should be far better than Slowik’s, putting Stroud in a position to succeed in 2025.

Also, everyone loves to crap on his sophomore season, which was a disappointment, yes, but don’t forget that he was 4-for-6 in clutch games to begin the season, and was the QB10 at that point.

Lastly, don’t discount Stroud’s legs. He ran for 40+ yards in both playoff games, and if you look at his body composition, he looks bigger heading into Year 3, so I’d expect him to be more willing to use his legs than he was for most of his 2024 season.

Caleb Williams, Chicago Bears

Caleb Williams was just 35 percent consistent last season, and what’s crazy is that he had as many clutch games before his Week 7 bye as he did afterward! However, there’s a lot of excitement around Williams heading into 2025, as Ben Johnson commanding the offense should mean good things. And a three-headed monster at wideout with DJ Moore, Rome Odunze, and rookie Luther Burden is tantalizing for fantasy purposes.

Here are a couple of interesting notes from Williams’ rookie season:

  • Of the 10 QBs with at least 400 rushing yards last season. Williams was the only QB not to have multiple rushing TDs.
  • Caleb Williams had the 4th-most total scrambles in 2024.
  • Williams’ completion percentage was nearly 25 percentage points lower when he was pressured, per Pro Football Focus.

An improved offensive line should let Williams get a bit more comfortable in the pocket. And Williams’ ceiling could be 4,000+ passing yards and 500+ rushing yards. If he does that, I’d expect his consistency to be quite impressive.
