Fantasy NFL Week 6 Start/Sits Advice & Football Strategy

Week 6 NFL Fantasy Start/Sits: QB
Start – Jordan Love – GB vs. CIN
Love is 80% consistent at home against bad defenses since 2022, and that’s just what the Bengals are. Cincy is in the bottom third when it comes to defending fantasy QBs. He’s coming off his first 300-yard effort of the season, and is sitting just a shade under 70% on completions for the year. He figures to be a solid start this week.
SIT – Tua Tagovailoa – MIA vs. LAC
Tua is at home against a Chargers defense that has yet to allow a QB throw for multiple touchdowns in a game this season. The Dolphins QB hasn’t thrown a pick in the last two weeks and is coming off a clutch game against Carolina. The Chargers are a different defense, and he should have a rough day.
Week 6 NFL Fantasy Start/Sits: RB
Start – Jacory Croskey-Merritt – WAS vs. CHI
Man, it feels good to finally use the guy who was your sleeper in the preseason. If you drafted early, you got this guy at a big discount before the hype hit. Washington appears to be finally utilizing him, and in the two games he’s received double-digit carries, he’s produced two clutch performances. The Bears are among the league’s worst against fantasy running backs. Bill should have a big day.
Sit – Isiah Pacheco – KC vs. DET
Pacheco is just 40% consistent against good defenses at home over the past two seasons. The Lions come to town as one of the league’s best against fantasy running backs. He’s seen just seven carries in each of the last two weeks, so the volume doesn’t seem like it will be there in a game where it could come down to the passing attack of KC anyway.

Week 6 NFL Fantasy Start/Sits: WR
Start – Ladd McConkey – LAC @ MIA
With both Hampton and Harris out, the Chargers are going to need to lean on the passing game a bit more. That said, it should result in more targets and receptions for McConkey. He’s seen at least six targets in all but one game this season, and has yet to get it really going as we saw last year. These injuries to the Chargers’ RBs could be what he needs.
Sit – Jerry Jeudy – CLE @ PIT
The good news is Jeudy is the WR1 in Cleveland. The bad news is that Jeudy is the WR1 in Cleveland. It’s been tough building a rapport with Browns QBs, and rightfully so. He’s seen 35 targets so far, but hauled in just 15 and has yet to score a touchdown. The jury is out on how good Dillon Gabriel can be, but I don’t have enough confidence in Jeudy to put him in the lineup this week
Week 6 NFL Fantasy Start/Sits: TE
Start – Dalton Kincaid – BUF @ ATL
Despite Atlanta being one of the better teams in the league against the tight end, Kincaid seems to be Josh Allen’s favorite target right now. Coming off a win against the Patriots, where he collected six passes for 108 yards, he stands to see a decent amount of targets this week.
Sit – Kyle Pitts – ATL vs BUF
As much as I think Kincaid can get it going, I don’t believe Kyle Pitts will pay off for owners in Week 6. He’s 0 for 2 at home against good defenses, and Buffalo is one of the best at defending the tight end. He’s earned two clutch games on the year, but I don’t see Week 6 being his third.
