NFL Fantasy Football Week 6 comes with some great data for consistency! In the “Under the Radar with Consistency” series this week, I’ve got some Clutch players who are going unnoticed.
With 5 weeks of data in our datasets this week, we have a strong sense of who’s consistently producing. For NFL Fantasy Football Week 6, the “Under the Radar” series includes several players who can help your fantasy teams achieve greatness moving forward.
For those who are new or need a refresher, here are a few key terms and definitions to help you during the season when reading.
- Clutch Factor (CF) – the average points a player needs to meet or exceed a Clutch Game based on scoring settings and league size. Think QB1, RB2, WR2, and TE1 thresholds.
- Clutch Games (CG) – weekly per-game award for a player who hits the CF factor. The more of these, the more consistent the player is.
- Clutch Rate (CR) – total of CG earned divided by total games; top fantasy players are usually > 70%.
- Football Consistency Report Tool (Scoring can be edited/Standard listed below)
- Based on 12-team leagues
- 4 points per passing touchdown
- 6 points for all other touchdowns
- 1 point per reception (PPR)
- 1 point per 20 passing yards
- 1 point per 10 rushing yards or 10 receiving yards

Fantasy Football Under the Radar (with consistency) – 10/7/2025
TE Darren Waller, MIA, NFL Fantasy Football Week 6.
During the offseason, the Miami Dolphins let one of their top targets, Jonnu Smith, go to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Immediately after doing so, they picked up free agent Darren Waller to help fill the void at TE. It’s taken Waller a few weeks to get into game shape and up to speed, but since then, he’s been on fire!
In the two weeks that Waller has been active, he’s averaging 4.5 targets, 4 receptions, 52.5 receiving yards, and 1.5 touchdowns per game. Accordingly, those numbers have Waller ranked as the TE1 for the season on per-game average, with 18.3 points per game.

(2025 Statistics: 100% CR, TE1: 18.3 PPG, 76% Rostered on Yahoo!)
For Waller, there is some cause for concern, given his history of injury, but it’s impossible to ignore how well he’s performing. With the season-ending injury to Tyreek Hill, the Dolphins are looking for a secondary target to fill the void behind Jaylen Waddle.
I’ve got Waller ranked as my TE4 for this week’s matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, and I think, as long as he’s healthy, Waller will remain a solid TE1. At 76% rostered, he’s 10%+ less rostered than the likes of T.J. Hockenson (86%, 8.06 PPG) and Mark Andrews (87%, 8.84 PPG), who’ve both underachieved.
WR Tre Tucker, LV,
Coming into this season, most weren’t sure if any of the receiving options for the Las Vegas Raiders would stand out compared to Brock Bowers and Jakobi Meyers. The team drafted two rookie WRs in this year’s NFL Draft: Jack Bech (round 2) and Dont’e Thornton (round 4). Tre Tucker has outperformed both.
So far this season, Tucker has 4 touchdowns and is averaging over 57 yards per game. Additionally, he’s ranked as WR16 on the season and shows no signs of slowing down. He’s even had at least 1 rushing attempt per game in 4 of the 5 games played this season. This shows the coaching staff’s intention to manufacture plays for him.
(2025 Statistics: 60% CR, WR16: 14.9 PPG, 43% Rostered on Yahoo!)
He’s got a 60% CR on the year on the back of 28 targets through 5 games. His 14.9 points per game have him ahead of WRs drafted way earlier (D.K. Metcalf, Zay Flowers, and Nico Collins). Tucker has managed to put those numbers up despite less-than-ideal QB play from Geno Smith.
43% rostered is way too low for a WR2 who, at the very least, is a great FLEX. I’m not going to say he’s a slam dunk to keep up this pace, but I’m proactively looking to add him for bye weeks and injury fill-ins moving forward.
WR Tyquan Thornton, KC,
Patrick Mahomes is experiencing a resurgence this season, and it’s been without his WR1 Rashee Rice. A big part of that has been the emergence of Tyquan Thornton. Thornton never lived up to expectations and fizzled out in New England before moving on to Kansas City this season.
He’s averaging 5 targets per game this season and has topped 40 yards in 4 of 5 games played. Thornton has proven to be an extreme vertical threat with his 4.28 40-yard dash speed. He’s currently tied for 1st with Jaxon Smith-Njigba for the most 30+ yard receptions this season (5).

(2025 Statistics: 60% CR, WR33: 11.6 PPG, 20% Rostered on Yahoo!)
The Chiefs will eventually get Rice back from his six-game suspension, but Thornton has already carved out a spot in the offense. With Mahomes back on track this season and showing that he trusts Thornton, I expect a strong finish.
Thornton currently finds himself as a low-end WR3 with potential big spike weeks. His 20% rostership is too low for that, and I expect many to turn to him during their bye-week crunches at WR. Don’t overlook the speedster from Kansas City when looking for depth in your WR room.
WR Tory Horton, SEA, NFL Fantasy Football Week 6.
When looking for talented WRs across the league, it’s easy to stop at the Seahawks with Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp. Coming into the season, everyone assumed Marquez Valdes-Scantling was going to be the WR3; however, rookie WR Tory Horton took the job.
Horton boasts a 60% CR, but that’s a little misleading as he didn’t even receive a target in Week 1. If we take that game out, then Horton is at 75% CR! He’s had at least 1 touchdown in 3 of those 4 games and has only scored less than 11.20 points in 1 game during that stretch.
(2025 Statistics: 60% CR, WR49: 8.9 PPG, 7% Rostered on Yahoo!)
The majority of fantasy managers pay attention to RB handcuffs when drafting, meaning they are reliant on an injury in front of them. In Horton’s case, as mentioned on X by Andrew Cooper (@CoopAFiasco), he’s “actually a handcuff for two. An injury to either Jaxon Smith-Njigba or Cooper Kupp throws him into a large role in an offense that uses fullbacks and tight ends instead of a WR3.”.
If you remove the Week 1 game, he’s averaging 11.1 points per game, and he would be WR39 on the year. And as mentioned, he’s one injury away from being extremely relevant. I understand if you don’t have the bench space, but if you do, then he’s a great stash that you could use in a pinch.
TE Mason Taylor, NYJ, NFL Fantasy Football Week 6.
Appears we’ve got ourselves a bit of a theme developing here! This week’s “Under the Radar” is all about pass-catching opportunities, and Mason Taylor for the New York Jets is a prime position. Outside of Garrett Wilson, the Jets don’t have much in the way of receiving options. Enter Taylor, the shiny new TE.
Taylor took a few weeks to shake an ankle injury and get acclimated to the pro game, but since then, he’s shown what he’s capable of. He’s had 6+ targets for 3 straight weeks, and he even had 12 last week. With back-to-back games of 65+ yards, Taylor is proving that he’s a trusted target for Justin Fields.
(2025 Statistics: 40% CR, TE25: 7.9 PPG, 32% Rostered on Yahoo!)
Like Horton above, Taylor doesn’t have the greatest per-game averages, but as I mentioned, a lot of that is due to his aforementioned ankle injury and rookie status. Over his last three games, he’s averaging 11.67 points, and that mark would put him at TE10 for the season.
I was big on Taylor pre-draft and liked him in every dynasty draft over the offseason. Moreso, once he got drafted by the Jets, I began to like him as an option in redraft leagues as well. His immediate opportunity has allowed him to take advantage, and fantasy managers would be wise to do the same by picking him up.
