Fantasy NFL Week 7 Start/Sits Advice & Football Strategy
Welcome Back! Big Guy Fantasy Sports is thrilled to bring you another year of the best in NFL consistency rankings and championship fantasy football strategy.
If you know your home/road splits, you know that Goff is a homebody. Since 2022, he’s been 75% consistent at home against bad defenses. The Bucs have proven to be very generous to fantasy QBs this season, as they rank in the bottom third in fantasy points allowed to the position. This one should see a decent amount of points scored.
Tua has been a mess on a lot of levels, and hopefully, he isn’t your every-week guy. If he is, look elsewhere. The weather in Cleveland is supposed to be rainy and windy, so there isn’t much in the way of passing on either team to like. He’s also been bad on the road against good defenses in his career, with just a 22% clutch rate.
While the stats don’t jump off the page, Kamara is 67% consistent on the season. Over the past two weeks, he’s been more involved in the passing game with nine receptions over that span. The Bears haven’t been able to stop RBs, so there should be room on the ground for Kamara to succeed this week.
The reasons are simple. Green Bay is the stingiest in the league against fantasy RB. It’s tough to know which back will get the majority of the snaps. Bad matchup. Crowded backfield. Look elsewhere.
There have been some signs of life over the past couple of weeks, and McConkey should be clutch this week as well. Indy has struggled with fantasy wideouts in general and has had a hard time defending the slot. He should have plenty of chances to post numbers in Week 7.
Jennings says he’s playing with five broken ribs, and he’s also listed with ankle and shoulder injuries. He has one clutch game in four tries, and with Kendrick Bourne stepping up, Jennings won’t be called on until he’s healthy, which may never happen. The matchup against ATL isn’t promising either, as they are one of the best in the league at defending the position.
Even though he’s put up just one clutch game in 2025, Engram has seen at least six targets in each game over the last three weeks. The Giants are middle of the road against tight ends, but have allowed some solid fantasy days to the position. He won’t be the TE1 this week, but he should post a clutch game.
Let’s look at the other side in this matchup. As much as I like Engram, Johnson should sit this week in your fantasy lineup. He’s recorded just two clutch games, but has been a decent option at a bad position. Denver is among the best in the league at defending against fantasy tight ends, so it should be a tough week.
