ADP Movement in Fantasy: Bhayshul Tuten is Dropping!

Welcome Back! Big Guy Fantasy Sports is thrilled to bring you another year of the best in NFL consistency rankings and championship fantasy football strategy.

Fantasy football leagues are drafting almost daily at this point! Knowing Average Draft Position (ADP) gives each fantasy manager an advantage. Several running backs are falling this week. Is their fantasy ADP a value now?

The Hall of Fame game is in the books, and we officially won’t have another week without football until we’re into the playoffs. In that game, the Lions got obliterated by Trey Lance and the Chargers this past Thursday, 34-7. The score? Who cares? We’ve got NFL football!

Fantasy managers are itching to draft, and many drafts have already started. To have an edge on your opponents during your draft, you need to know two things. First, please familiarize yourself with your league’s settings, and second, know ADP.

Several key players are rising and falling this week. Read on for some key information on those players! Also, sign up today to get full access to all the tools available at BGFS!

The Jacksonville Jaguars’ backfield has been a regular topic amongst fantasy managers this offseason. They have two running backs returning (Travis Etienne and Tank Bigsby), and they also drafted two running backs in this year’s NFL draft (Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen). Tuten was a 4th-round pick and appears hand-selected by new Head Coach Liam Coen.

At the combine, Tuten put on a show. He had a 4.32 40-yard dash to go along with a 40.5″ vertical jump. Next Gen Stats rated him an 82 in Athleticism Score, 5th amongst all running backs in the class. He was second-team All-ACC as he ran for 1,159 yards and scored 17 total touchdowns in 11 games.

Despite all of the accolades and statistics in college, Tuten dropped over 24 spots this week in ADP. Multiple reasons contribute to ADP movement, and his fall is due to the current competition he faces. Etienne (a former 1st-round pick) and Bigsby (a former 3rd-round pick) have both proven to be volume contributors at the NFL level. Allen (a 7th-round pick this year) is a 3rd down back with great pass protection and soft hands.

I love the athleticism and potential for game-breaking plays. Even with those things, it’s hard to see him beating out Etienne and Bigsby both. In the 14th round, he’s free. I’ll take a chance on him in leagues with deeper benches or where I’m comfortable with my starting running backs.
