NFL Fantasy Football Week 4: Under the Radar with Consistency!

Welcome Back! Big Guy Fantasy Sports is thrilled to bring you another year of the best in NFL consistency rankings and championship fantasy football strategy.

NFL Fantasy Football Week 4 had some insane finishes and wild top scorers! In the “Under the Radar with Consistency” series, we’ve found a couple of players who might not be on your watch list. Who’s Clutch and going unnoticed?

There were so many blocked kicks in the NFL Fantasy Football Week 4 that we’re seeing quite a few Defensive/Special teams with high scores. The “Under the Radar” series doesn’t have those, as some fantasy football leagues don’t include them. We focus on the core offensive fantasy positions: Quarterback, Running Back, Wide Receiver, and Tight End.

For those who are new or need a refresher, here are a few key terms and definitions to help you during the season when reading.

  • Clutch Factor (CF) – the average points a player needs to meet or exceed a Clutch Game based on scoring settings and league size. Think QB1, RB2, WR2, and TE1 thresholds.
  • Clutch Games (CG) – weekly per-game award for a player who hits the CF factor. The more of these, the more consistent the player is.
  • Clutch Rate (CR) – total of CG earned divided by total games; top fantasy players are usually > 70%.
  • Football Consistency Report Tool (Scoring can be edited/Standard listed below)
    • Based on 12-team leagues
    • 4 points per passing touchdown
    • 6 points for all other touchdowns
    • 1 point per reception (PPR)
    • 1 point per 20 passing yards
    • 1 point per 10 rushing yards or 10 receiving yards

RB Cam Skattebo, NYG Football Week 4.

If you watched Sunday Night Football this week, you were treated to Cam Skattebo‘s coming-out party. He’s a rookie RB for the New York Giants who was taken in the 4th round of this year’s NFL Draft. However, NFL defenders who have attempted to tackle him might not think he’s a rookie.

Skattebo’s rough and tough running has already earned him an “Angry Runs Scepter” via Kyle Brandt from Good Morning Football. The “angriest” run of the week earns a scepter.

(2025 Statistics: 67% CR, RB18: 13.6 PPG, 75% Rostered on Yahoo!)

Going into Monday Night Football, Skattebo is the RB3 for the week with 24.1 points. He’s RB18 for the season and is averaging 13.6 points per game. Furthermore, in last night’s game, the starting RB for the Giants, Tyrone Tracy, injured his shoulder and will miss some time.

That increased volume should be enough for Skattebo to hold onto his RB2 status moving forward. His 75% share is too low, as he should be rostered in virtually every format. In leagues where he’s available, he’s a priority pick-up for me.

RB Blake Corum, LAR

The Los Angeles Rams have utilized Kyren Williams as their lead back for the past few seasons, and his volume has given him some great fantasy finishes (RB7 both of the last two seasons). Enter, Blake Corum, the Rams’ third-round pick in last year’s NFL draft. Many thought he’d be a factor last year, but it looks like that may be happening this season.

Last year, Corum had some ups and downs but never received consistent touches (65 touches all season). This season, he looks extremely efficient as he’s averaging 7.1 yards per carry with 15 touches already. He even got his first NFL touchdown last week.

(2025 Statistics: 33% CR, RB46: 6.1 PPG, 17% Rostered on Yahoo!)

With Williams again looking like an inefficient option, Corum is seeing his touches increase. This past week, he had 8 touches, an increase of 3 from Week 2. With back-to-back weeks now over 44 rushing yards, Corum looks like he’s prepped to cut into Williams’ hold on the RB1 spot.

The Rams haven’t hidden their intention to become more explosive as their offense had an explosive run rate under 2 percent (1.8) in 2024, which ranked them last in the NFL. Corum was specifically brought in to be that explosive player, and Head Coach Sean McVay stated he wants a 65/35 split for the two RBs. Corum has standalone value as an RB3, and if he usurps Williams, the sky is the limit.

RB Woody Marks, HOU

Similar to Corum, Woody Marks is the younger, upcoming RB for the Houston Texans. The current RB1 is Nick Chubb, but he’s coming off of tearing his MCL, meniscus, and medial capsule, followed by an ACL tear in a second surgery. He eventually returned for the 2024 season but was limited to eight games before breaking his foot and missing the rest of the season.

Marks was taken by the Texans in the 4th round of this year’s NFL draft out of USC. He led the Trojans with over 1,100 rushing yards in his final season in college and also tacked on another 47 receptions and 321 receiving yards.

Early on, Marks was competing with Dameon Pierce and Dare Ogunbowale; however, Marks appears to have leapfrogged them in recent weeks. His playing time and touches have increased every week. With the Texans staring at a 0-3 start, there could be a change of the guard coming soon at the RB position.

Marks is a much better receiver than any of the other current Texans’ RBs (highlighted by a 37-yard catch and run in week 2) and has averaged over 4.5 yards per carry the last two weeks. The Clutch Games haven’t come yet, but they will for Marks, who’s an excellent bench stash.

WR Tre Tucker, LV Football Week 4.

A hot offseason topic for fantasy managers was who’s going to be the number 2 target behind Brock Bowers in Las Vegas? Most assumed it was Jakobi Meyers and then one of the rookies, Jack Bech, or Dont’e Thornton. So far, though, it’s clearly been Tre Tucker.

Tucker is currently WR4 on the season after popping off for 40.9 points this past week. His targets have increased each game, and this year he’s earned 20 through the first three weeks; he had 9 last week. On top of the increase in targets, Tucker even has 2 rushing attempts through three games as well.

(2025 Statistics: 67% CR, WR4: 19.7 PPG, 4% Rostered on Yahoo!)

The Raiders have been in a couple of games in which they trailed the majority of the time, which could be the reason for Tucker’s usage. However, looking back to last season, we can see that Tucker was trending upwards with 24 targets over the final five weeks.

It seems clear that Geno Smith trusts Tucker, as he’s only 6 targets behind Meyers on the season (20 to 26). If Tucker can maintain his usage over the rookie WRs, then he’ll prove plenty valuable for fantasy managers as bye weeks approach.

WR Tory Horton, SEANFL Fantasy Football Week 4.

The Seattle Seahawks moved D.K. Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers, and then Tyler Lockett took his services to the Tennessee Titans. This all cleared the runway for Jaxon Smith-Njigba as well as newly signed Cooper Kupp. However, with Kupp on the wrong side of 30, the Seahawks made a wise investment by drafting Tory Horton in the 5th round of this year’s NFL Draft.

Horton now has back-to-back double-digit scoring weeks and sports a 67% CR. Currently, he is WR13 with 18.2 points for fantasy football Week 4 (before the Monday Night Football game).

(2025 Statistics: 67% CR, T-WR48: 9.8 PPG, 3% Rostered on Yahoo!)

For fantasy managers in the know, Matt Harmon of ReceptionPerception is the WR guru, and if he’s in on a player, you should listen. He even compared Horton to Chris Olave, as their frames and play styles look to match up.

Horton has been extremely efficient on limited touches so far (64 yards and 2 touchdowns on only 5 receptions), but is primed for an uptick in usage. With Smith-Njigba and Kupp demanding so much attention, Horton will continue to see light coverage. Due to that, I’d beat the rush and pick him up now, as he has standalone value that would skyrocket should anything happen to either of the other WRs.
