Checking the Average Draft Position for Fantasy Football is pivotal. A couple of tight ends are moving this week. Read on for insight into those key players and a few more who have ADP movement this week.
The great Scott Hanson from the NFL RedZone has me pumped up. He posted Sunday that we’re 11 Sundays away from our first Witching Hour of the 2025 season. I’m continuing my series of ADP movers and have a couple of good ones for everyone.
ADP (average draft position) is the key to winning your fantasy leagues. Getting draft round value increases your chances of winning. Remember, every pick is important.
Be sure to check in weekly. ADP is constantly moving, and I have key updates for you. Also, if you haven’t already, sign up today to get full access to all of the tools available at BGFS!
Fantasy Football ADP Updates (with consistency) – 6/23/2025 Fantasy Football: ADP
TE David Njoku CLE Fantasy ADP.
The buzz around the Cleveland Browns has been at the quarterback position. Who starts from the foursome of Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Shedeur Sanders, or Dillon Gabriel? The real juice is at tight end, and his name is David Njoku.
Over the past two seasons, Njoku averaged the 5th most points per game at tight end (12.95). Some worry about injury, but over that time, he’s played four fewer games than Kelce and Kittle (27 compared to 31).

(ADP +2.1, pick 80.1, Rostered 90.9% on ESPN redraft/snake)
Last season, Njoku missed six games due to minor injuries. When he played, he finished as TE4 in points per game (13.5). Only the top trio of tight ends finished above him: George Kittle, Trey McBride, and Brock Bowers. Those guys are 1, 2, and 3 again this year in ADP at the position. Njoku is listed as TE7 (80.1 overall) in ADP, over 40 picks below the third guy (Kittle at 39.5 overall).
I can understand the quarterback scare, but let’s be honest. Last season, the Browns had Jameis Winston (7 starts), Deshaun Watson (7 starts), Dorian Thompson-Robinson (2 starts), and Bailey Zappe (1 start) as starting quarterbacks. Flacco, who has a good chance to start, started five games for the Browns in 2023. During that five-game stretch, Njoku averaged 18.2 points per game on 9 targets. Don’t let the situation scare you here, Njoku is a TE1 as long as he’s healthy, and a steal in the 6th round of Fantasy Football drafts.
TE Isaiah Likely BAL
When looking at ADP Fantasy rankings, it’s surprising that Isaiah Likely falls to TE17. He has been one of the best game changers for Lamar Jackson over the past three seasons. His limitation comes from being behind Mark Andrews on the depth chart.
He has started 19 games over three seasons, and it’s obvious what he’s capable of. For his career, in games with 5+ targets, he averages 14.03 points per game. Last year, that would have made him TE4 (ahead of Njoku at 13.5 but behind the big three).
(ADP +2, pick 162.7, Rostered 9.8% on ESPN redraft/snake)
Andrews is now two years removed from receiving 100+ targets, and last year was his worst targets per game average since his rookie season. Likely, on the other hand, averaged a career high in receptions per game last season (2.6). As this split between Andrews and himself progresses, this will be Likely’s breakout year.
With a Fantasy ADP in round 13, it’ll be hard not to target Likely this season. He should be drafted ahead of several other big names as a TE2 or even a TE1 on a team that ignored the position throughout their draft. The gap between Andrews (83.3 overall) and Likely (162.7 overall) should, at the very least, be much closer.
WR/CB Travis Hunter JAX
It doesn’t matter what type of fantasy draft you’re in; Travis Hunter is dividing fantasy managers. His talent is undeniable, and we’ve seen him move based on the news each week. This week, he is down a few spots in ADP for fantasy (-2.1) after some interesting news (was it a joke?).
The news is that Hunter signed his rookie contract, and how the Jacksonville Jaguars presented it on social media was concerning. The Jaguars put up two separate posts, one as a wide receiver and another as a defensive back. Which one will he be full-time?
(ADP -2.1, pick 69.8, Rostered 93.7% on ESPN redraft/snake)
There is no denying Hunter’s talent; he’s a top-notch player at both positions. In his final collegiate season playing wide receiver, he led his conference in receptions (96) and touchdown receptions (15). While on the defensive side of the ball, he was 2nd in passes defended (11) and 3rd in interceptions (4) in the conference. That doesn’t guarantee that type of success on both sides of the NFL.
It’s scary to think about a Fantasy ADP in the 5th round for a player who may not be a full-time guy. That’s where the divide is, in IDP (Individual Defensive Player) leagues, he could be a steal. In non-IDP fantasy leagues, his snaps may be limited at wide receiver. In the fantasy rankings, Hunter (WR31) is sandwiched between Jerry Jeudy and Tetairoa McMillan (8th overall NFL rookie pick), both favorites to be WR1 for their teams. For that reason, I’m out as I’d rather have those guys and several others over Hunter.
WR Josh Downs IND Fantasy ADP.
The Indianapolis Colts appear poised to make a change at quarterback for this upcoming season. According to all reports coming out of camp, Daniel Jones has taken the QB1 job from Anthony Richardson. This is good news for Josh Downs.
In a year where his quarterback seemed unable to get the ball to him, Downs still finished as WR32 in points per game this past season. He set career highs with 107 targets and 72 receptions for the year. Downs accomplished these numbers despite Richardson only completing 47.7% of his passes in 11 games started.
(ADP +1.6, pick 161, Rostered 40.6% on ESPN redraft/snake)
Downs ranked 8th in slot snaps (437) in 14 games last season. This is relevant as Wan’Dale Robinson ranked 2nd in the same metric for the New York Giants last year. Robinson saw 142 targets last year, 10th in the league (most of those from Jones, as the starting quarterback for the Giants). Football fans and fantasy managers alike will tell you that Downs is a much more talented player.
The idea that Downs gets a more accurate quarterback (64.1% completion over his career) who hyper-targets the slot is a juicy proposition. His fantasy ADP falling in the 13th round is mind-boggling. Downs will see 125+ targets this upcoming season, and a corresponding 25% increase in his numbers would equate to 16.8 points per game. That average would’ve put him at WR12, just ahead of Brian Thomas Jr. and A.J. Brown (tied at 16.7) last season.
WR Jayden Higgins HOU
If you’ve read one of my previous ADP Fantasy articles about him or are following me on X, you know I’ve been banging the drum for Jayden Higgins. Camp buzz has said that Higgins looks as good as advertised, making plays and catching everything thrown his way during team drills.
All the incoming news has further cemented Higgins’ status as WR2 on the Texans. He comes into his rookie season listed at 6’4″, 214 lbs, and runs a 4.47 40. I don’t want to make any crazy comparisons, but Higgins’ running mate at wide receiver this season will be Nico Collins. Collins is 6’4″, 215 lbs, and runs a 4.50 40. He’s done pretty well, as he was tied for 8th in points per game at wide receiver this past season with CeeDee Lamb (17.6).
(ADP +1.2, pick 134.4, Rostered 49.1% on ESPN redraft/snake)
It’s not just the size and speed combination that’s off the charts for Higgins. His college target share was 93rd percentile (31.4%), a 3% drop rate, and the 3rd best athleticism score of the 2025 wide receiver class (107.4, 79th all-time at WR).
Higgins has a fantasy ADP that lands in the early part of the 11th round. That makes him WR50 off the board. Last season, the overall WR50 averaged 8.3 points per game (Ray-Ray McCloud). Higgins will easily outdo that this season, and I’d take him over guys ahead of him in Fantasy ADP like Darnell Mooney (WR49), Ricky Pearsall (WR46), and Deebo Samuel (WR39).
WR Khalil Shakir BUF Fantasy ADP.
The Buffalo Bills are a top offensive team. Last year, they were 2nd in the NFL with 30.9 points per game (behind the Lions at 33.2). Khalil Shakir, the WR1 for a team with such a prolific offense, should have a Fantasy ADP much higher than 107.9 overall.
Fantasy managers are one of two buckets when it comes to Shakir. Either he’s undervalued or not good (these managers continue to take lottery tickets on other Bills WRs). Last season, Shakir finished as WR37 overall, and his numbers (100 targets, 76 receptions, 821 yards, and 4 receiving touchdowns).
(ADP -2.3, pick 107.9, Rostered 86% on ESPN redraft/snake)
The upside is that he has gotten significantly better every year he’s been in the league (this year will be his 4th season). He had more receiving yards and touchdowns this past season than during his first two seasons combined (772 yards and 3 touchdowns).
The Bills brought Joshua Palmer and Elijah Moore in to compete with last year’s holdovers Keon Coleman, Curtis Samuel, and Shakir. Shakir profiles as that group’s WR1, and taking another step forward would prove a bargain at his ADP. That ADP has him at WR43 overall, behind several rookies (Tetairoa McMillan and Matthew Golden) and some veterans who may be washed (Cooper Kupp, Deebo Samuel, and Stefon Diggs). He’s a solid floor pick who may be boring but should be a strong WR3 with a high-end WR2 ceiling.
Let’s keep combing through all the information and checking on Fantasy ADPs. See you next week to see who’s moving in our ADP Risers and Fallers series throughout the Summer! If you’re on X, follow me, @JKeasy, as we can discuss moving ADPs, sleepers, and much more!
