Running Backs

Start ‘Em: Dameon Pierce

Dameon Pierce has failed to live up to his rookie season from last year. He is only averaging 8.3 fantasy points a game. Luckily he faces the Carolina Panthers in week 8, who give up on average 29.3 FPTs to running backs. That is only less than half a point than the Denver Broncos who gave up 92.4 FPTs in one game against the Dolphins. Carolina is the worst rushing defense in the league currently. Looking at Pierce’s fantasy football consistency performance against a BAD defense, he averages 18 fantasy points with a 100% clutch rate. Start Pierce against the Panthers defense.
