Who’s Hot & Who’s Not – 12/23/2025 – Week 17 NFL Fantasy Football
Who’s Hot!
Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints
Olave is averaging just under 19 fantasy points per game over the last five weeks, and he’s been a top-8 WR during this span! He has a very strong clutch rate over the last five weeks (80%), and perhaps even stronger is his 50.7% share of the team’s air yards, 26.3% target share, and 35.5% first read rate, per FantasyPoints Data. Two great matchups with the Titans and Falcons are on deck for Olave.
Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
Young may be outside the top 25 QBs for the season, but from Weeks 11-16, he’s the QB9 at just under 20 fantasy points per game! He’s ahead of guys like Jalen Hurts and Bo Nix during that stretch! Not only does he have a 10:2 TD/INT ratio over his last five games, he has the third-best passer rating amongst QBs, and he’s one of nine QBs with at least 100 scramble yards during this run, per FantasyPoints Data. He’s been a consistent option for fantasy managers to say the least. Furthermore, his 0.56 fantasy points per dropback over the last six weeks is higher than Hurts (0.54), Dak Prescott (0.53), and Joe Burrow (0.49), per FantasyPoints Data.
Kyle Pitts, Atlanta Falcons
Cousins has now started five games since Michael Penix Jr. went down with an injury. In those five games, Pitts has a 26.1% target share and 2.86 yards per route run. Also, a healthy average of 8.6 targets per game. His 19.8 fantasy points per game is the best amongst all tight ends. His 15.2 expected fantasy points per game trails only Trey McBride, per FantasyPoints Data. He cannot be stopped, and Cousins won’t stop looking his way! Hence, you should continue to start Pitts with confidence, and let the clutch times roll!
Who’s Not!
Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers
Can you guess the last time Allen reached double-digit fantasy points? Not sure? Well, the answer is Week 7. In Weeks 1-7, he averaged 15.9 fantasy points per game. Since then, he’s averaging just 7.2 fantasy points per game. Yikes! All that in mind, it’s hard to be optimistic about a guy averaging 37 yards per game over the last five weeks. Oh, he also gets the Houston Texans secondary in Week 17. I’ll pass.
Xavier Worthy, Kansas City Chiefs
Expect a lack of consistency the rest of the way for Worthy. No Patrick Mahomes. No Gardner Minshew. Therefore, clutch games will be few and far between for Worthy. Over his last five games, he has a measly 14.1% target share and just 0.27 fantasy points per route run, per FantasyPoints Data. That 0.27 mark over the last five weeks is in line with recent production from Tyler Warren (0.28) and Jake Ferguson (0.26). Worthy has reached double-digit fantasy points (PPR scoring) just once in his last seven games.
Breece Hall, New York Jets
Hall has been to fewer than nine fantasy points (PPR) in three straight games now. A measly 2.86 yards per carry and 1.43 yards before contact per attempt won’t get it done, per FantasyPoints Data. Hall is dominating the touches, which is good. However, even his 10.0 expected fantasy points per game over the last three weeks is a bit underwhelming. The Jets’ offense is struggling, and a tough matchup on the ground awaits Hall in Week 17 (vs. New England). Not loving that outlook!
Week 16 of the NFL Fantasy season is in the books, and thus, we are onto Week 17! Check in again next week for my weekly in-season series “Who’s Hot & Who’s Not” article and see who’s flying under the radar! Until then, follow me on X, @ColbyRConway, for more football!
