Who’s Hot & Who’s Not – 12/16/2025 – Week 16 NFL Fantasy Football
Who’s Hot!
Trevor Lawrence, Jacksonville Jaguars
Say what you want about Lawrence, and notwithstanding how chaotic/ugly it can be/look at times, he’s been great for fantasy purposes of late. He’s rattled off four straight clutch games, and since Week 9, he’s the QB3 (22.4 fantasy points per game). During his streak of four clutch games, he’s logged multiple touchdown passes in each game. He’s also added at least 16 yards rushing! A tough matchup is in store against Denver in Week 16. However, facing the Colts in the fantasy football championship (Week 17) looks juicy!
RJ Harvey, Denver Broncos
The post-bye rookie bump has been real for Harvey! Since the team’s bye in Week 12, Harvey has recorded three straight clutch games, coming in as the RB7 in PPR formats at over 18 fantasy points per game! Furthermore, beyond the production, he’s handled 60+ percent of the snaps, 57+ percent of the rushing attempts, and is the leader in the RB room with a 37 percent route share, per FantasyPoints Data. However, production on the ground in Week 16 could be tough going against Jacksonville. The rookie will need to be productive in the passing game to extend his clutch game streak.
Colby Parkinson, Los Angeles Rams
Over the last six weeks, Parkinson is the TE6 in PPR formats! He’s routinely been a TE1 that you can trust in recent weeks! Additionally, Davante Adams is likely out of the mix for a bit, so we could see more targets directed his way! Parkinson leads the NFL in red zone targets over the last six weeks, which is great for his fantasy floor! Lastly, per FantasyPoints Data, his 0.82 fantasy points per route run during the aforementioned span is higher than the likes of Jaxon Smith-Njigba (0.74), Amon-Ra St. Brown (0.64), and Nico Collins (0.60). You can trust him as a TE1, folks.
Who’s Not!
Sam Darnold, Seattle Seahawks
Darnold is just 43% consistent on the year, and he has a 5:5 TD/INT ratio over his last five games. Furthermore, if you look a bit closer, five of his touchdown passes came in two of those games. That means three of his last five games have resulted in ZERO touchdown passes from Darnold. He offers hardly anything with his legs, and over the last five weeks, he’s been the QB27.
Ashton Jeanty, Las Vegas Raiders
Jeanty clocks in as the RB37 over the last three weeks. Jeanty has failed to log a clutch game the last two weeks. The Las Vegas offense is a nightmare, and Jeanty has the third-highest stuff rate (54%) amongst running backs with at least 100 carries this season, per FantasyPoints Data. Furthermore, he has the fourth-lowest yards before contact per attempt, per FantasyPoints Data! He’s getting little to no help from the big uglies from up front! The usage is great, but a Week 16 matchup against Houston isn’t ideal for his fantasy outlook.
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings
Jefferson just can’t get it going with J.J. McCarthy, or Nine, or whatever he wants to be called. Despite a 25.7% first read rate and 24% target share over his last four games, he’s averaging just 21.3 yards per game. Oh, not to mention 0.83 yards per route run, per Fantasy Points Data. Jefferson is 60% consistent on the year, but his last clutch game was back in Week 11. Those in the fantasy football playoffs should proceed with caution if starting Jefferson.
Week 15 of the NFL Fantasy season is in the books, and thus, we are onto Week 16! Check in again next week for my weekly in-season series “Who’s Hot & Who’s Not” article and see who’s flying under the radar! Until then, follow me on X, @ColbyRConway, for more football!
