NFL Week 8 Game of Fantasy Points: Commanders at Chiefs!

It’s Monday Night Football day! Tonight, the Washington Commanders are visiting the Kansas City Chiefs. How did this week stack up in terms of consistency? How will tonight’s game turn out?

NFL Week 8, bye-mageddon is almost over, and we had some great performances despite not having many close games. Only the Jets vs. the Bengals matchup was decided by less than 10 points (39-38, Jets). As for the Monday Night game, Vegas opened the spread with the Chiefs at -3,5, but has moved to -11. For fantasy scoring, our current King of the Week is Jonathan Taylor, who scored 37.40 points against the Titans.

Notes from the Highest Projected Games

Jonathan Taylor of the Colts flexed on his performance this week with 37.40 points. Will it be enough to hold off any competitors tonight? We had 4 QBs, 5 RBs, 1 WR, and 1 TE all score more than 25 fantasy points this week, down quite a bit from last week. Our highest projected game did produce the highest fantasy score of the week for WRs, with 26.9 for Troy Franklin.

Featured the QB1 (Love), QB4 (Hurts), QB5 (Nix), RB3 (Barkley), RB4 (Hall), RB5 (Brown), WR1 (Franklin), WR3 (Chase), TE1 (Kraft), and TE4 (Goedert)

Each of the highest projected games produced at least 7 clutch players, and two of the games had 10 again this week! All four of our highest projected games landed in the top 5 for the highest combined scores.

NFL Week 8 Monday Night Football, Commanders at Chiefs (-11)

Our Monday Night game opened at 3.5, favoring the Chiefs, but is up to -11 now with news that Jayden Daniels is out for Washington.

The game is projected to have 9 Clutch performers: 5 from Kansas City (Patrick Mahomes, Isiah Pacheco, Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthy, Travis Kelce), and 4 from Washington: (Marcus Mariota, Jacory Croskey-Merritt, Terry McLaurin, Deebo Samuel, and Zach Ertz). This game will absolutely challenge for the “Fantasy Game of Points” title as it’s tied for the highest projected clutch players (9). The Chiefs should run this up, and with Rice back, Mahomes is back to MVP status: 33-20, Chiefs.
