2025 Wide Receiver Fantasy Football Consistency Rankings Preview

The mix of the top receivers in Fantasy fluctuated quite a bit over the past five years (2020-2024):

We witnessed a unique year in 2024 as the over 200 points DROPPED 18% from 33 to 27 receivers, while the over 300 points stayed the same as 2023. Ja’Marr Chase exceeded 400 points. The over 75% consistency increased by over 30% from 13 to 17.

What does this mean for your drafting strategies in 2025? It shows that there are many more receivers scoring points to help your fantasy team, but how consistent they are is even more important. Both Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Garrett Wilson were ninth and tenth, respectively, in total points, but both had 65% consistency for the season. This ranked them tied for 25^th place. Remember, there are top receivers who are very consistent, but there are always consistent receivers that can be drafted in the mid-late rounds that can help take your team to the playoffs and Fantasy Championships.

Let’s look at those wide receivers ranked in their projected Tier for 2025 and show you their 2024 total points and consistency, and where they ranked in those categories in 2024.
