He’s had four NFL seasons; one was his learning rookie season, then he had two very good 4000-yard seasons, followed by last year’s injury-marred mess. During those two undisturbed seasons, he had consistency!

Health and Recovery Lawrence had shoulder surgery in December to repair an AC sprain in his left shoulder. He has been seen throwing passes during OTAs, and the Jaguars are managing his workload to ensure he is fully healed. A healthy Lawrence will be crucial for Jacksonville’s success.

New Coaching Staff and Offensive System: The Jaguars brought in Miracle Max, aka Liam Coen, who engineered the last two seasons’ Baker Mayfield revival. Coen’s system emphasizes timing, footwork, and structured progressions, which should help Lawrence improve his consistency. Lawrence himself has praised the new system, stating that it provides him more flexibility on the field.

Improved Supporting Cast Jacksonville has made significant additions to its roster, including Heisman-winning rookie wide receiver Travis Hunter. Hunter, along with Brian Thomas Jr., Gabe Davis, and Parker Washington, gives Lawrence the most talented receiving corps he’s had in his career.
