Rashee Rice is just one of the few Big Fantasy Football ADP Risers This Week!

Welcome Back! Big Guy Fantasy Sports is thrilled to bring you another year of the best in NFL consistency rankings and championship fantasy football strategy.

The Average Draft Position of players continues to change as we see more news from NFL camps- here are a few players with movement to be aware of heading into your drafts this week.

As we are heading into rookie draft season and some start-up drafts, we are getting camp news from various NFL sources. This news can come in the form of amazing highlights or just a lot of smoke. Breaking news drives ADP, but is the movement justified?

Information right now comes from so many different places that it’s important to be informed and read through the above mentioned smoke. Read on below to get some insight on what I’m seeing as far as big ADP (average draft position) movement for players within the rankings.

WR Rashee Rice KC

Rashee has gone from a 6th round pick a week ago to an early round 4 pick in redraft. Right now, he’s the hottest wide receiver in fantasy as he’s being debated as a legit WR1. This marks two weeks in a row we’ve seen Rashee ascending in the ADP ranks.

There are several reasons that Rice is being talked about: KC’s high-powered offense is always enticing (is he the top target), his return from injury (LCL), a looming suspension, and how he looks in camp. All of these things make him a polarizing player, and it looks like people are leaning towards the positive side with his ADP rise.

Is Rashee the top target in KC? This is a huge debate, the Chiefs feature Travis Kelce (when is the cliff coming), Marquise Brown (coming off his own injury), and Xavier Worthy (a rookie last year who blew up down the stretch). The answer is yes. Rashee averaged 21.63 points per game (would’ve been 2nd overall behind only Ja’Marr Chase’s 23.7 in points per game for WRs in 2024) during the three game stretch that he was healthy last year. The Chiefs want to feature him, and that won’t change this season as long as he’s available to play.

As for the other factors, Rashee already looks good in several video clips from the Chief’s OTAs. According to most legal notes I could find across the league, he is unlikely to be suspended in 2025. Also, all signs point to him being a stud for this upcoming season. He’s a top target, but be wary of how high his ADP gets; he’s a value in the low-end WR1/WR2 price range.
