Undervalued Clutch Players – QB - 2018

Bob Lung gives you some of the “secret” undervalued players from his 2018 Fantasy Football Consistency Guide! Follow him on Twitter @bob_lung

Every year as Fantasy owners head into their drafts, they are always looking for the “sleepers” or undervalued players. The Clutch Games system identifies undervalued players that most systems can’t. These are the players who are consistent week after week but don’t normally have huge games. These players slip down and can be drafted at great value.

I will identify those picks who are undervalued based on their current ADP’s. This way if you want to pick a player early, you can and still get good value based on what round you draft them. Or you can wait until the middle or late rounds and get great value just as easily. It’s your call!

Let’s start with the quarterbacks.

Carson Wentz/Nick Foles

Wentz was on his way to an MVP season, when a torn ACL ruined it. The Eagles didn’t miss a beat without him and won a Super Bowl with Nick Foles. Wentz’s consistency was around 70% and he missed three games. I would expect that consistency to improve in 2018. The biggest key here is health. I have heard good news (he will be available for the start of the season) and not-so-good news (he’ll miss a few starts). Either way, I’d draft Nick Foles as a handcuff. Wentz’s ADP is QB6/pick 70. That’s a great value at this point. I have ranked third IF he can start in Week 1. Keep an eye on him this summer to see how he’s progressing.
