With the way 2020 has been, it seems like ages ago some of the best in the fantasy football industry got together virtually to put their squads together for the third annual King’s Classic. Finally, as 2020 comes to a close, so does the Classic. Here we go with the recap of the finals. Who are the champs? You’re about to find out!
Len Dawson Division
The Dawson Snake Championship saw a decisive victory from Ian Hartitz of Pro Football Focus with a 163.68 to 115.32 win over Mauricio Gutierrez of Mexico’s Estadio Fantasy. Hartitz was led by a huge day from Miles Gaskin with 33.9 points while Adam Thielen chipped in 23.7 in the win. Gutierrez got a big day from Tom Brady with 29.92 points, as well as 20 from Gio Bernard out of the RB spot, but the team couldn’t overcome many players coming in way below projected totals.
The Auction division also saw a blowout win as the True North Fantasy team led by Travis Seel took out Lewis Glover’s FF Down Under squad by a score of 148 to 119.4. Seel was one of the lucky Alvin Kamara owners during championship week that enjoyed a 56 point outing from the Saints RB. Fellow RB Jeff Wilson Jr. added 27.4 as they helped to overcome a zero posted by Jarvis Landry. Glover was led by Jamison Crowder with 29 and Gio Bernard added 20 in the loss. Jalen Hurts scored 18.58 but it wasn’t enough to get the crown.
Congrats to our Len Dawson Division Winners Ian Hartitz and Travis Seel!!
