QB

Ben Rothelisberger

Pats/Steelers is the highest Vegas total for the week at 54 and I believe it has every chance to hit or exceed that total.  That Pats defense is in the bottom ten in fantasy points allowed to the quarterback spot.  Surprisingly, Big Ben is our second most consistent QB behind some guy named Mahomes who turned out to be pretty good.  With stud WR on both sides and capable tight end options, the Steelers pass game should be able to post some stats.

Derek Carr

Ok.  I hear you.  Just let me explain.  The Bengals have allowed the most fantasy points to the QB position this season.  They are bad to say the least.  Carr has feasted on two bad defenses in consecutive weeks, throwing for 607 yards over the last two weeks.  He has developed a great rapport with Jared Cook (Cincy is bad against TE’s too)  and Jordy Nelson appears to be back healthy.  For the cheap price of $5400 he can allow you to pay up for guys like Zeke and Saquon.

Honorable Mention: Lamar Jackson, Tom Brady

RB

David Johnson

At 69% Consistency, it’s no secret Johnson hasn’t played like a top of the first round pick in 2018.  However, if there was ever a time to use the Arizona RB it is Week 15 against a weak Atlanta rush defense that has allowed 165 ypg over the last three weeks on the ground.  Since Week 8 Johnson has gotten at least 20 touches in all but one game, so there’s no reason to think that trend won’t continue.  At $7100 on DK, he is a solid option if you can’t fit the top guys into your lineup.

Dalvin Cook

This one is strictly about price and matchup.  We liked Cook heading into the year, but the injury questions loomed and ended up coming to fruition this season.  He seems to be healthy and I think his touches will continue to increase as he proves it.  Miami is allowing 139 yards per game on the ground for the season.  He’s also been targeted 17 times in the passing game over the last two weeks, so there could be some points to be had in the passing game.  He comes in at $7400 on DK, which makes him a solid second tier RB option.

Honorable Mention: Tarik Cohen, Ito Smith, Zeke Elliott, Chris Carson, Joe Mixon

WR

JuJu Smith-Schuster

WE BE STACKIN!!  Quick, who leads the Steelers in receptions and yards this season?  Not Antonio Brown!  JuJu is enjoying a monster season, and isn’t showing signs of slowing down.  As stated earlier, the game has the potential to be a track meet, and Schuster figures to be in the midst of it.  Oh yeah, he’s also 85% Consistent on the season, and is a bit of a bargain at $8,000 on DK.

Jordy Nelson

You saw Derek Carr listed above, and a healthy Jordy is one reason why.  It has been tough to count on him in yearly, and if you had to you probably haven’t had to set a lineup for a few weeks. Nelson has 16 grabs over the last two weeks, and seems to be back to full health.  We won’t mention his Consistency here, because he’s not.  However, at $4200 I like for him to be a helpful, cheap piece that could deliver some value if you’re spending elsewhere.

Tyler Boyd

Boyd continues to be the lead dog for the Cincy WR corps with A.J. Green being out of the season, and continues to get the volume.  He also sports a 62% Clutch Rating on the season, which ranks him above guys like Golden Tate and Amari Cooper.  Jeff Driskel at QB doesn’t scare opposing defenses, but the Raiders have allowed 256 passing yards per game over their last three, so there should be enough production here to get a decent day out of the $5700 Boyd.

Honorable Mention: Sterling Shepard, Calvin Ridley, Robert Foster, Davante Adams

TE

Rob Gronkowski

This worked out well for us last week, so lets try it again!  Gronk is $1000 more than he was a week ago, but at $5800 on DK I can still stomach the price.  Especially in the type of game I expect the Steelers/Pats to be (as you can see by the amount of players from that game in lineups this week).  He appears to be healthy for the first time in a while, and we know the rapport he has with Tom Brady.  Use Gronk while you don’t have to pay a premium price for him.

Honorable Mention: George Kittle, Vernon Davis
