 QB

Aaron Rodgers

The Falcons have been a little better against the pass as of late, but are still allowing the second most fantasy points to QB’s this season.  Rodgers got an early Christmas present with the firing of MIke McCarthy after last weeks awful home loss to Arizona.  It would seem that Rodgers wants to go out and prove his former coach was the problem, which will mean fantasy production.  It will be cold, but the weather should be fine.  It isn’t too often we see him this affordable on DK at $6000.

Baker Mayfield

Mayfield gets a Panthers defense that is allowing the sixth most fantasy points to the position.  The rookie is developing chemistry with his weapons, and his playing his way into the category of every week starter.  His Clutch Rating sits at 60%, which isn’t spectacular, but puts him ahead of guys like Drew Brees and Deshaun Watson.  Despite having three interceptions, Mayfield comes off a week in which he threw for 397 yards against a Houston secondary that is similar to Carolinas’ in terms of yards allowed this season.

Honorable Mention: Lamar Jackson, Phllip Rivers

RB

Christian McCaffery

The Browns have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game against opposing running backs this season and the workhorse has seen at least 19 touches in each of the last five games. The second-year back out of Stanford is getting it done both on the ground and through the air, and with Cam Newton’s arm looking a bit banged up, McCaffery should benefit on some extra check downs. Then again, he’s averaging 10 receptions per game over the last two weeks. McCaffery is a clutch game machine and is showing no signs of slowing down.

Ezekiel Elliott

The Eagles boasted a strong run defense earlier in the season, but over the last four weeks, they have been absolutely gashed! In the last four games, the Eagles are allowing 6.6 yards per carry to opposing running backs! That is absolutely absurd! Elliott has seen at least 29 touches in each of the past three games and the star back out of Ohio State has tallied over 130 total yards in four straight games. Here comes another clutch game for Elliott.

Honorable Mention: LeGarrette Blount, Alvin Kamara, Lamar Miller, Jeffery Wilson Jr., Jaylen Samuels, Justin Jackson, Gus Edwards

WR

Davante Adams

Adams is a perfect 100 percent consistent on the year and he finds himself in a great spot against a struggling Atlanta defense. Adams is a touchdown machine, and the Falcons have allowed 14 touchdowns to opposing wideouts this season. Aaron Rodgers has received a lot of scrutiny here, or criticism at the very least, and he’s going to come out with something to prove. Adams is averaging 10 targets and one touchdown per game over the last four weeks.

JuJu Smith-Schuster

Despite Ben Roethlisberger’s chronic road struggles, Smith-Schuster has been able to put up solid fantasy days on the road. Here are his yardage totals in road games this season: 119, 116, 111, 78, 104 and 189. He’s recorded a clutch game in every road contest this season, and he has a great matchup against the Oakland secondary. Love JuJu this week, and so should you.

Courtland Sutton

Sutton figures to be the main beneficiary from Emmaunel Sanders’ injury, and is the only proven commodity at the position.  In Week 13 the rookie went for four grabs, 85 yards and a touchdown in his best game as a pro.  The Niners are the third worst in fantasy versus he position, and combined with the volume potential, plus a cheap price, Sutton is a must-start.

Honorable Mention: Mike Evans, Jarvis Landry, Zay Jones

TE

Rob Gronkowski

This is simple. Gronk is $4800, which makes him cheaper than Jared Cook.  He draws a Dolphins team who hasn’t been good against the position this season.  This is one of the few times you will see him in my lineups as I don’t pay up at tight end usually.  Even though Gronk has not been his dominant self this season, he also comes into this game healthy, which has been tough for him this season.

Honorable Mention: C.J. Uzomah
