How To Consistently Find Real 2025 Running Back Value!

But… sometimes, don’t you like to get a taste of something else? I don’t consider it cheating on consistency if I look at other stats. If you don’t pair consistency with different stats, it’s like you’re driving your car with one eye closed. Consistency is clearly one of the most important factors for your players and your team’s success, but there are other factors that influence the outcome of games and your fantasy players’ performances.
How often do you see a running back be just ok one year, incredible the next, and then terrible the next? That’s bad consistency, right? Most of the time, it’s not that the player suddenly becomes bad at football; very often, there’s another factor, especially with running backs. Of all the players on every team, only running backs and the O-line are taking crushing hits every play. Even if the running back isn’t running the ball, he’s still chipping in on pass protection, trying to slow pass rushers.
That is why I don’t look at just consistency alone when I’m choosing my running backs. I look at O-line rankings. I want an RB who has a good O-line. Remember when Saquon Barkley was with the Giants? He was a good running back. Behind the Eagles’ O-line, he was a great running back.
Ok, so now you’ll look at the running backs’ consistency rating and their O-line. You’re off to a good start, but you’re not done yet if you want to have a killer running back room on your fantasy team.
