QB Geno Smith – @SEA vs. NYG (Rostered 59%, Started 31% on Yahoo!)
Geno Smith has been another one of those revelations at the quarterback spot this season (the last few to be honest). Once out of New York and the Jets’ system, Smith has seemed to put it all together. So far this season Geno leads all quarterbacks in yards and is second behind only Jayden Daniels in completion percentage (minimum 50 attempts). He’s currently sporting a 75% CR (Clutch Ratio) and is averaging 21.13 points per game. This year has been a little upside down at the quarterback position, as we’ve previously discussed but it’s apparent that Smith is holding strong as you can see by his current QB6 overall ranking. This isn’t foreign territory for the veteran signal-caller as he’s been routinely a top 15 option at the position since he took over, even finishing as the QB8 in 2022 in points per game. This week Geno gets a home game against the New York Giants who are listed as an AVG (average, per our Consistency Forecast tool) defense this year. This is important as our Consistency Forecast tool suggests another 21+ point outing from Smith this week. Plug him in if you’re looking for a bye-week filler for Goff or Hurts this week, you may even want to start him over some other well-known quarterbacks as well depending on how you’re feeling.
