Tis the season, merry Christmas everyone, hope you all are having a wonderful holiday season!  We’ve got football tonight kicking off week 16 with a Saints vs. Rams matchup that should produce some fantasy goodness for the playoffs.  Hopefully, you’re all playing in the fantasy football playoffs and on your way to a championship.  This week I’ve decided to use the “under the radar” article to identify a few of the most consistent options we’ve seen throughout the entire season.  These players can help push your team over the top in any matchup and give you that much-needed edge.  Be sure to sign up for Big Guy Fantasy Sports as the consistency tools are second to none and the articles are great!

On to the “Under the Radar” all-stars where I’ve listed a starter and alternate at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, and tight end.

Starter-QB Sam Howell (#2 CR at QB, min. 10 games) – WAS vs. @NYJ (Rostered 69%, Started 18% on Yahoo!)

At quarterback this season we’ve seen some wild things happening from journeymen putting up big points (Dobbs, Flacco, etc.) to a rookie quarterback legitimately being an MVP candidate (Stroud).  With that in mind, Sam Howell comes in as my favorite “Under the Radar” quarterback this year.  Sam has a 79% Clutch Ratio (CR, amount of consistently high-scoring games over total games played) on the year and comes into week 16 as QB7 overall.  He’s been consistent and a QB1 all year while being 7th in passing yards.  Averaging 20.99 points per game on good passing numbers along with 265 rushing yards, Howell has been a bright spot in an otherwise dark Commander’s season.  To think he’s started in under 20% of leagues is bewildering and I know in leagues I’m in the Howell manager is still rolling along.  This week’s matchup against the Jets may look daunting but don’t let it scare you away from the second most consistent quarterback this year (behind only Hurts).  The Jets just got picked apart last week by Tua, sans Tyreek Hill, giving up 224 yards passing, and Howell is capable of doing the same.
