Fantasy Football – Consistency Check-In

Welcome to the Consistency Check-in! Each week Ron Rigney will highlight players at each position that either barely recorded a Clutch Game, or fell just short. Are they must adds, or must drops? Was it a fluke or is there consistency to be had? Come back here each week to find out!  Follow Ron on Twitter @ronrigney

Daniel Jones, QB – NYG

Unless you drafted guys named Allen, Mahomes, Burrow or Hurts, you’re most likely in the same boat as myself. I was duped by a guy named Wilson who told everyone to ride. It’s Week 10 and here we are. Scrambling to add what’s on the waiver wire. This is where Mr. Jones comes in. Sure he’s only 25% consistent, but this week he gets a Texans defense that couldn’t stop you, me, Colby and 8 of our friends. Don’t get me wrong, it will be a HEAVY Saquon week, but I look for some meat to still be left on the bone for Jones to post a Clutch Game. Danny Dimes is no Justin Fields, but he’s posted at least 68 rushing yards in three games this season, including a 107 yard effort against the Jags in Week 7. He’s a solid start in Week 11 as well against a Lions defense that is one of the most generous to fantasy QB’s.
