Fantasy Football – Consistency Check-In – Week 12

Welcome to the Consistency Check-in! Each week Ron Rigney will highlight players at each position that either barely recorded a Clutch Game or fell just short. Are they must adds, or must drops? Was it a fluke or is there consistency to be had? Come back here each week to find out!  Follow Ron on Twitter @ronrigney

Mike White, NYJ – QB

Jets’ Head Coach Robert Saleh claims the Zach Wilson era is far from over in New York, but it’s hard to believe he gets his job back if Mike White plays well and wins. Wilson doesn’t seem to get how to be a leader just yet. Looking back to last season, White stepped into the Jets starting gig and had success. We aren’t chasing last year, but it’s hard to argue with what he did, including a game with 405 passing yards. His upcoming matchups are all teams in the bottom third in fantasy points allowed to QB, with Chicago, Minnesota and Buffalo on the slate. Taking everything into consideration, White is also a backup for a reason. We are taking a flyer here, so this could end up being consistent, or end up being a disaster.
