AL East
Adley Rutschman, C – BAL
Rutschman is 7 for his last 22 with two home runs and appears to be ascending to elite status at the position. Overall, he’s 58% consistent on the season (7 for 12).
Alex Verdugo, OF – BOS
The Red Sox OF is 12 for his last 26 with seven RBI despite being just 33% consistent for the season.
Tristan Casas, 1B – BOS
The Sawks heralded youngin’ is beginning to figure out Major League pitching, going 7 for his last 20 with a homer and five RBI. Ignore the past consistency (or lack thereof) as he’s just 17% on the season. His future is as bright as anyone’s.
AL Central
Maikel Garcia, INF – KC
Garcia is 10 for his last 24 with a home run and two stolen bases over that stretch. He’s collected a clutch week in three out of seven chances (43%).
Matt Vierling, OF – DET
Vierling is hitting .412 over his last 21 AB with four RBI. He’s only 33% consistent, but makes a solid bench bat especially in leagues with more than three OF spots.
Andy Ibanez, UTIL – DET
The Tigers utilityman is 9 for his last 26 with four runs scored, a homer and three RBI. Ignore that 25% consistency as he should earn more playing time. He’s also eligible all over the field, which is HUGE for your bench.
AL West
Reid Detmers, SP – LAA
Finally some pitching! Detmers has allowed just two runs in his last three starts, with two of those being quality starts. In those two quality starts, he’s struck out 16 batters in 15 innings.
Corey Seager, SS – TEX
It’s no surprise that Seager is 63% consistent, but he’s on fire as of late. He’s hitting .414 with 2 homers and 10 RBI during that stretch.
Leody Taveras, OF – TEX
Taveras continues to have a career year and I don’t feel like he’s getting the credit he deserves. He’s 60% consistent and is 9 for his last 27 with three homers and six runs scored. He continues to give you a little bit of everything for a cheap price.
NL East
Orlando Arcia, SS – ATL
Arcia is hitting .458 over his last six games and is slashing .341/.400/.489 on the season. Look for that 40% consistency to trend upward. Sorry Vaughn Grissom owners!
Eury Perez, SP – MIA
Perez has been a huge part of Miami’s scorching play since his callup. In 41 IP the phenom has a 1.54 ERA and 45 K’s in 41 IP. It’s not too often we see a pitching prospect immediately live up to the hype, but here we are.
Eddie Rosario, OF, ATL
Rosario is 10 for his last 18 with five homers and 11 RBI. He’s just 33% consistent on the season overall, but is white hot as of late.
NL Central
Mike Tauchman, OF – CHC
Waiver wire darling Mike Tauchman is slashing .295/.407/.398 with two home runs, 14 RBI and three steals since his callup to the bigs.
Brendan Donovan, UTIL – STL
The Cards’ utility man continues to be a solid bench option. Slashing .396/.453/.521 in his last 11 games. Donovan puts the ball in play and is eligible almost everywhere in your lineup.
Jordan Hicks, RP – STL
Hicks has converted three consecutive save chances in Ryan Helsley’s absence. In those outings he’s struck out 7 and has a WHIP of just 0.43.
NL West
Christian Walker, 1B – ARI
Walker checks in at 67% consistent on the season, and is hitting .370 over his last 27 AB. He’s also added 10 RBI and three homers over that span.
Brandon Crawford, SS – SF
Crawford is hitting .412 over his last 17 AB. He’s only contributed 4 RBI when looking at counting stats but could be a solid add for a BA boost for the short term.
Ketel Marte, 2B – ARI
Marte is hitting .450 over his last 20 AB with two homers, seven RBI and eight runs scored. On the season Marte is 67% consistent with a clutch week in 8 out of 12 tries.
