NFL Fantasy Football is gearing up for the NFL Draft. The NFL Draft begins in 8 days. In part 4, we dig deeper to round out the top 12 or usual 1st round of a rookie fantasy draft.
Less than 10 days now, and we’ll know one of the most important things about the NFL rookies. Their draft capital. Which team a player lands with and how high they are drafted are huge in determining fantasy value. Today, we’re looking at my 10, 11, and 12 prospects. As I just said, draft capital will have some major effects on these rankings, but I’m hoping not too much.

Fantasy Football NFL Draft Rookies (with consistency) – 4/15/2026
WR Denzel Boston, Washington (College) Age: 22 NFL Fantasy Football, NFL Draft 2026.
This year’s NFL draft has a deep WR class, and my WR6 is Denzel Boston of the University of Washington. He’s a big, listed at 6’4″ and 212 lbs. He’s got a ton of potential, but I think he’s got a few red flags that hold him back compared to my first 5 WRs I’ve talked about.

(2026 Rankings – Redraft: WR48, Dynasty: WR39)
Boston was a 3rd-Team All-Big Ten Conference player last season. He led the Huskies with 62 receptions and 881 receiving yards. He was also tied for 9th in touchdown receptions in all of FBS with 11. Boston’s size, along with his contested-catch ability, should lead him to be a productive red-zone target and possession-type WR.
Another big separator for the top WRs in this draft will be situational opportunity. Boston could easily overtake several of the WRs I listed before him if he ends up in the right situation. Boston’s size is very intriguing, and it’ll be interesting to see which team selects him. A Dolphins fit seems nice, but I’d actually like to see him end up in San Francisco, where he can learn from fellow big-bodied WR Mike Evans.
RB Jadarian Price, Notre Dame (College) Age: 22
Consensus among analysts has Jadarian Price as the RB2 in this draft class. He’s my RB3 as I’m more impressed by Nick Singleton. That said, Price has many high-end traits that could easily translate to the next level. His biggest knock is that he played in the shadow of this class’s RB1, Jeremiyah Love (also my overall 1).
Despite playing behind Love, Price still managed to be a 3rd-Team Associated Press All-American. He was also one of the nation’s most versatile players, as he was a finalist for the Paul Hornung Award. That versatility was on full display as Price was a dynamic kick returner who had 450 return yards and tied for the FBS lead with 2 return touchdowns last season.
(2026 Rankings – Redraft: RB43, Dynasty: RB35)
On the ground, Price averaged 6 yards per carry and had 674 yards last year. He’s a great pure runner, some even saying he may have an edge on Love in that skill. The lack of home-run-hitting ability and pass-catching is what holds Price back. He only had 6 receptions last season and 15 total across 3 seasons.
This situation feels eerily similar to the Bijan Robinson and Roschon Johnson RB situation after both were at Texas together. Robinson has gone on to be a star, while Johnson has fizzled out in Chicago. Are Love and Price destined to be the same? At the time, I liked Johnson, but I’ll admit that Price looks like a better overall prospect. In the end, I doubt I’ll have many Price shares unless he drops.
QB Ty Simpson, Alabama (College) Age: 23
This is a SuperFlex shoutout. For those in SF leagues, you know that QBs are worth their weight in gold. Insert Ty Simpson, my QB2 in this class. There isn’t a lot to be excited about with the QBs here, similar to RBs; once you get past the first guy, it’s a cluster of mediocrity. Simpson is a former 5-star prospect and top 25 national recruit.
His career started slowly as he played behind Bryce Young and Jalen Milroe for his first 3 seasons at Alabama. Simpson’s patience paid off, though, as he was 2nd-team All-SEC and a finalist for the Manning Award (the Nation’s best QB) in his final season. He’s a cerebral QB that reminds me of Brock Purdy. He has the tools and can be extremely effective (64.5% completion last year) when running the correct system.

(2026 Rankings – Redraft: QB35, Dynasty: QB30)
As an athlete, again, he reminds me of Purdy as a sneaky runner who can make big-time plays with his legs when necessary. In my QB article last season, I highlighted that Purdy was a “Mobile Threat,” adding 15-20 yards rushing per game. Simpson is very capable of doing the same thing.
Simpson has a small sample size, starting one full season, but it was a successful stint. Wherever he goes, he’ll need confidence from the coaching staff and an opportunity to learn before really seeing his growth. He may not come out of the gates slinging it, but I could see him getting a few starts and potentially taking the reins for the right teams. Some juicy spots I’d like to see are the New York Jets (immediate opportunity to compete), the Arizona Cardinals (immediate), the Pittsburgh Steelers (maybe immediate depending on Aaron Rodgers), and the Los Angeles Rams (learn behind Matthew Stafford in a McVay offense).
