Fourteen weeks of the NFL season have passed, and it’s time to really dig in on the performances of these players. In this week’s edition of Who’s Hot and Who’s Not, we’ll dive into standout performances in recent weeks from Tyler Shough and Christian Watson, while determining the appropriate level of concern for Emeka Egbuka and Tyjae Spears.

Who’s Hot & Who’s Not – 12/9/2025 – Week 15 NFL Fantasy Football

Tyler Shough, New Orleans Saints

Shough may not be starting yet in any 1QB leagues, but in superflex formats, don’t overlook the rookie! He’s been a QB1 in fantasy in each of the last two weeks! He’s handled at least six rushing attempts in three straight games, and being the QB for a bad Saints team means that passing volume should be just fine for him. Also, with matchups the next three weeks against the Panthers, Jets, and Titans, Shough could be a sneaky consistent play at QB for those in superflex or 2QB setups.

Chase Brown, Cincinnati Bengals

Despite Samaje Perine returning to action and handling 35-40 percent of the snaps, Brown has maintained a reliable workload. What’s reliable, you ask? Well, he’s had at least 16 opportunities in each of the two games since Perine returned. During that stretch, albeit with just 47 receiving yards, he does have 10 catches on 11 targets. Furthermore, let’s talk about his consistency. Brown has been a top-13 PPR running back in each of his last six games! Reliable. Volume. Production. Good offense. Also, a really, really bad defense. What more could you want?

Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers

Believe it or not, Watson has been a top-12 PPR wideout in three of his last four games! Despite his boom-or-bust past, he’s largely been pretty consistent, at least over the last four weeks. He’s held a 25.2% target share and 15.2 average depth of target, per FantasyPoints Data, over the last four weeks. Furthermore, his 0.156 first downs per route run during this stretch are undoubtedly elite. We’ll have to see how Jayden Reed’s return impacts him moving forward, however. There will always be some volatility with Watson, but enjoy the consistency while it’s here.

Tyjae Spears, Tennessee Titans

Spears hasn’t been completely phased out of the Tennessee offense, but unless he’s racking up points through the air, there isn’t much meat left on the bone for Spears in this offense. He’s only reached double-digit fantasy points one time this year, which happened in Week 8! In fact, other than his work in the receiving game, Tony Pollard is the clear leader in the [rushing] clubhouse. Check out the data below, courtesy of FantasyPoints:

Snap Share

% of Team’s Carries

Route Participation

Target Share

Pollard

52.5%

63.6%

28.7%

6.9%

Spears

45.1%

19.3%

40.9%

13.8%

At this point, Pollard is the lead back, and Spears is the pass-catching back. Nevertheless, I’m not expecting much consistency from Spears the rest of the way.

Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

In Weeks 1-5, Egbuka averaged 20.5 fantasy points per game (PPR). However, from Week 6 on, he’s averaged 8.9 fantasy points per game, with Week 10 being the only time he hit double digits. Wow! It’s been a steep fall off, and it’s largely due to a few things. He’s held a strong 29.2% target share over the last four weeks, and a 10.8 aDOT indicates he’s getting those high-value targets. However, of wideouts with at least 100 routes run the last four weeks, he has the 11th-worst drop rate (11.4%), the third-lowest passer rating when targeted (38.9), and the lowest catchable target rate (51.4%), per FantasyPoints Data. Although the expected fantasy points look quite good, the actual fantasy points have been less than ideal. Accordingly, his consistency has suffered as well.

Mark Andrews, Baltimore Ravens

Andrews has failed to reach double-digit fantasy points in three straight weeks. Furthermore, he has a 13.3% target share, 0.84 yards per route run, and a 16.7% drop rate, per FantasyPoints Data. Isaiah Likely has certainly been the better tight end in the last few weeks, and Andrews is the one who got the contract! Also, something is off with this Baltimore offense, and to say the least, Andrews has impacted. Since going for 91 yards and two scores in Week 3, Andrews has just one game with more than 35 yards since then. With that in mind, expect the inconsistent production to continue.
