Week 13 brings a challenging NFL DFS landscape. Injuries and bye weeks have shaken depth charts, creating both opportunity and chaos. The challenge is balancing cheap value with trustworthy production. The goal is simple: stay consistent, cash in, and climb into the green.
Navigating the Slate
This week’s DFS slate is difficult. Injuries have opened value, but that also makes it easy to overspend in the wrong places. There’s a temptation to use salary just because it’s there. With lead backs sitting out and big names missing, this build leans on value where it matters most while finding stability in proven players.
The final lineup reflects a “consistently cash” mindset — the kind of structure aimed at 50/50s and double-ups, not high-risk tournaments. It’s about profit through balance, not boom-or-bust swings.
QB – Jacoby Brissett – Arizona Cardinals ($5800)
In six games as the starter, Brissett has posted 1887 yards, 11 TD, and 5 int, despite just a 1-5 record over that span. Tampa Bay has been the most generous in the league to fantasy quarterbacks over the past three weeks. Marvin Harrison Jr. remains questionable, but even if he doesn’t play, Trey McBride and Michael Wilson will continue to pick up the slack in his absence. He’s a solid play for a main slate that features just 10 games.

RB – Devin Neal, New Orleans Saints ($5000)
Injuries create value in DFS, and we’ll capitalize on that here with the rookie Devin Neal. Alvin Kamara is dealing with a knee sprain, and while Taysom Hill actually logged the most carries after Kamara went down, Neal has been a very reliable receiver for the team this season. In Week 12, he caught five of seven targets for 43 yards, and he’s caught at least three passes in all but one of his last four games. I’d expect high ownership with him in this very, very good matchup against Miami. The Dolphins have allowed the 10th-most fantasy points per game to running backs this season, and they are tied for the seventh-most receiving yards allowed to the position.
RB – Breece Hall, New York Jets ($6000)
Despite the Jets’ offense struggling each week, Hall has posted three clutch games in his last four, and continues to be the focus of the offense. He’s still poised to hit 1000 yards on the ground this season, and has been involved in the passing game as well. With Atlanta’s defense allowing the eighth most fantasy points to RB, he should see plenty of work, and hopefully improve upon his measly two-touchdown total.

WR – Nico Collins, Houston Texans ($6700)
Davis Mills has been excellent for Nico Collins’ production, but C.J. Stroud has tormented the AFC South for his career. So, we love that! Furthermore, Collins has feasted on the Colts in recent seasons, although I’d be remiss if I didn’t state that this is probably Indy’s best secondary Collins will have ever faced. They should move him around to get him away from Sauce Gardner, and it’s clear that this offense is at its best when Collins is being peppered with targets. Before getting just three targets on Thursday night in Week 12, Collins had four straight games with double-digit targets. Collins has a 70% clutch rate on the season, so trust in Nico in a pivotal AFC South showdown.
Jaylen Waddle, Miami Dolphins ($6800)
Waddle is 64% consistent on the season, but he’s been very reliable since Tyreek Hill went down. In fact, since Hill got injured, Waddle has a 23.6% target share and 3.16 yards per route run, per FantasyPoints Data. I love this matchup against a vulnerable New Orleans secondary, and don’t overlook the fact that the Saints have allowed the second-most fantasy points to perimeter receivers over the last four weeks, per FantasyPoints Data.
Emeka Egbuka, Tampa Bay Buccaneers ($6500)
After rattling off five straight clutch games to start the season, Egbuka has posted just one out of his last six. He’s battled injury, but it’s been tough for him to get going since his return. This week’s game against Arizona sits currently with a 44.5 total, but could be higher as this one has shootout potential, especially if Baker Mayfield can capture some of that early-season magic.

TE – Colby Parkinson, Los Angeles Rams ($2800)
Parkinson has at least nine DraftKings points in three straight games, and his price has only gone up $300!? SIGN ME UP! He’s scored a touchdown in three consecutive games, so yes, we are a bit dependent on a touchdown, but this Rams offense is humming, and the Panthers have allowed the second-most receiving yards to tight ends this season! Tyler Higbee is on IR, and Parkinson has been the tight end to step up in recent weeks, and I’ll bet on that continuing in Week 13.

D/ST – Los Angeles Rams ($3800)
Week 12 saw the Rams post 18 fantasy points by picking Baker Mayfield off twice and sacking him four times. Bryce Young has only been sacked 20 times on the season, which is down from his pace at this time last year, but he’s averaging a pick per game in each of his last four. LAR is tied for third in the league with 12 interceptions, and is in the top ten in sacks as well. It should be a long day for Mr. Young and the Carolina offense.
