NFL Week 12 Game of Fantasy Points: Panthers at 49ers!

It’s that time of week, Monday Night Football! The Carolina Panthers can tie for 1st in the division with a win over their former rivals, the San Francisco 49ers. Can either team give us some fantasy goodness tonight?

NFL Week 12 wraps up tonight, and we’ve had some great finishes. We have four games that went over 50 points, but only one cleared 60 points. As for the Monday Night game, the 49ers are -7.5 favorites versus the Panthers. For fantasy scoring, our current King of the Week is Jahmyr Gibbs, who scored a season-best overall at 55.4 points against the Giants.

Notes from the Highest Projected Games

Jahmyr Gibbs crushed it with 55.4 points, but it was Jameis Winston this week who stole the show. Despite the Giants losing, they put a scare in Detroit, and Winston even caught a 33-yard touchdown (THAT’S RIGHT, CAUGHT). Every fantasy player knows how much they enjoy watching Winston play. It’s a shame he hasn’t been a full-time starter somewhere this season. This week, we had 3 QBs, 2 RBs, and 5 WRs score 25+ fantasy points. Only four games featured more than five Clutch Players. More than last week’s 5, 7 QBs accomplished a Clutch Game this week.

Featured the QB1 (Winston), QB2 (Hurts), QB3 (Prescott), RB1 (Gibbs), WR2 (Robinson), WR4 (Pickens), WR5 (Brown), TE2 (McBride), TE3 (Loveland), and TE4 (Strange)

Trey McBride didn’t finish as TE1, but he comes into tonight as TE2 for the week. Additionally, it’s worth noting that George Kittle plays tonight. The biggest unexpected finishes so far this week have been Winston as QB1, Emanual Wilson as RB2, filling in for the injured Josh Jacobs, and Hunter Henry as TE1. Although if you watched this week, we had Henry much higher than the consensus.

NFL Week 12 Monday Night Football, Panthers at 49ers (-7.5)

Tonight’s game has some interesting stakes for a Week 12 matchup. The Carolina Panthers have the opportunity to be tied for first place in the NFC South, and San Francisco needs a win to keep pace with the Rams in the NFC West. Some key consistency notes for this game include Brock Purdy, who’s got a 100% Clutch Ratio coming into tonight. He’s only played three games this season, but has been Clutch in all three. This game is projected for 8 Clutch Players. Christian McCaffrey comes into tonight’s game with a 91% Clutch Ratio, second to only De’Von Achane at RB.

This game has 5 expected Clutch Players based on the Consistency Reports and the matchup. Those 5 expected Clutch performers: 2 from Carolina (Rico Dowdle and Tetairoa McMillan), and 3 from San Francisco (Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, and George Kittle). I expect the Panthers to give the 49ers a good fight. Defensively, the Panthers have a slight edge over San Francisco. I could see Young and McMillan having a good amount of success against the 49ers’ secondary. Even in San Francisco, I’ll call for the upset: 23-20, Panthers.
