Week 10 brings a challenging NFL DFS landscape. Injuries and bye weeks have shaken depth charts, creating both opportunity and chaos. The challenge is balancing cheap value with trustworthy production. The goal is simple: stay consistent, cash in, and climb into the green.
Navigating the Slate
This week’s DFS slate is difficult. Injuries have opened value, but that also makes it easy to overspend in the wrong places. There’s a temptation to use salary just because it’s there. With lead backs sitting out and big names missing, this build leans on value where it matters most while finding stability in proven players.
The final lineup reflects a “consistently cash” mindset — the kind of structure aimed at 50/50s and double-ups, not high-risk tournaments. It’s about profit through balance, not boom-or-bust swings.
Quarterback: Jaxson Dart, New York Giants ($5700)
Part of me is a bit surprised that eight quarterbacks are priced higher than Dart, but on the other hand, he’s a rookie with six starts under his belt. At the end of the day, Dart is sub-$6K on DraftKings and has put up 18+ DraftKings points in all six starts this season. He’s found the end zone on the ground in five of those six games, including notching 50+ rushing yards in four of six. Chicago has allowed the seventh-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks this season, and they are one of just three defenses to have surrendered at least 20 passing TDs on the year.

Running Back: Rico Dowdle, Carolina Panthers ($6300)
Dowdle is dealing with a quad issue, but I doubt that he keeps him out of things in Week 10. He just put up 31.1 DraftKings points against a stout Green Bay defense, and he’ll now take on a New Orleans team that has allowed the ninth-most rushing yards per game this season. At this point, it’s hard to deny what Dowdle has done, and he’s clearly in the driver’s seat ahead of Chuba Hubbard.
Running Back: Kyle Monangai, Chicago Bears – ($5600)
Monangai made the most of his starting opportunity in Week 9 as he tallied nearly 200 total yards on 29 touches against a Bengals defense that is the worst in the league against fantasy running backs. This week, he will see a Giants defense that is the third-worst. D’Andre Swift didn’t have a consistent week of practice and sat out Friday. He remains questionable, so monitor this one, but even if he does play, Monangai could still see the majority of touches. If Swift does play, and that scares you off Monangai, TreVeyon Henderson is a solid pivot at the same price.

Wide Receiver: Wan’Dale Robinson, New York Giants ($5300)
At just $5,300, I’m playing Robinson everywhere this week. The Bears have struggled with slot receivers this season, as they’ve allowed the fifth-most yards per game to the slot. Robinson has put up 13 or more DraftKings points in three of his last four, and this game should see plenty of points scored. In the five games this season where the Giants have played in games that surpassed 50 points, here are Robinson’s point totals: 31.2, 20.4, 15.5, 7.8, and 13.6.
Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams ($8700)
The Rams face a Week 10 matchup against a 49ers defense that has allowed the 10th most fantasy points to WR over the past three weeks. Nacua heads into Week 10 fully healthy and appears to be ready to resume his connection with Matthew Stafford. He’s pricey, but he’s seen at least nine targets in all games this season except 1, and that was the one he left with a rib injury. If he’s healthy, he’s producing fantasy points.
Rome Odunze, Chicago Bears ($6000)
The Giants aren’t very good at defending fantasy WR either, as they are the seventh worst in the league heading into Week 10. It was a rough Week 9 for Odunze owners, as he failed to record a catch on three targets in a game that ended 47-42. The week prior, he appeared to be back on track with seven grabs for 114 yards against Baltimore. This week should be more like the Baltimore matchup, and I’m feeling at least one touchdown.

Tight End: Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints ($3700)
The Panthers are the league’s worst team in terms of DVOA against the tight end, and the Saints traded away Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. How in the world do the Saints not give Johnson 8+ targets in this game? The Panthers love to sit in Cover 3, and he’s posted 1.77 yards per route run, 9.9 yards per reception, and a 99.8 passer rating when targeted versus Cover 3 this season, per FantasyPoints.

Defense: Cleveland Browns DST ($2900)
Regardless of who is under center, this is a great spot for the Cleveland defense. The Jets offense is underwhelming, and the Browns defense has 10 sacks and 4 interceptions over the last 2 weeks! The Jets have been one of the more generous teams to opposing defenses, and I’d expect that trend to continue. If you need to save a couple of hundred bucks, I also like Jacksonville going up against Davis Mills and the Houston Texans.
