NFL Fantasy Week 4 Start/Sits Advice & Football Strategy

Week 4 NFL Fantasy Start/Sits: QB
Start – Justin Fields – NYJ @ Miami
Since 2022, Justin Fields has been 80% clutch on the road vs. a bad defense. That’s the situation he finds himself in on Monday night against the Dolphins. He was a TD machine in Week 1 vs. Pittsburgh, but left in Week 2 with a concussion, which forced him out in Week 3. His status is still not known, and playing Monday night makes it a tricky call, so hopefully some info will come out before the games on Sunday. If he doesn’t play, Tyrod Taylor would make his second start and could be a sneaky clutch performer in a solid matchup.
SIT – Aaron Rodgers – PIT vs. MIN (in Ireland)
The Vikings have been stingy against opposing QBs this season, allowing just 485 yards in their first three games. Rodgers is only 40% clutch on the road against bad defenses and has thrown three picks in his last two games. I also am never a fan of starting players in games in other countries, so if you can pivot off of Rodgers, do it.
Week 4 NFL Fantasy Start/Sits: RB
Start – Alvin Kamara – NO @ BUF
Kamara is 100% clutch on the road against average defenses since 2022. The Bills are allowing 100 yards rushing per game, as well as four receptions to the RB over the first three weeks. Kamara has carried the rock 39 times over the last two games and will continue to be the focal point of the Saints’ attack.
Sit – Cam Skattebo – NYG vs LAC
There isn’t much clutch data to go on here, other than the clutch games he has recorded in Weeks 2 and 3, which is good. I’m sure some of you will have to start him, and he’s in line to get work, but I’m not confident there will be much for him in this game. I love the guy, but we may need to hold off starting him for another week.

Week 4 NFL Fantasy Start/Sits: WR
Start – Keenan Allen – LAC @ NYG
Let’s stay in the same matchup with one of our all-time favorite wideouts. Allen is 2 for 3 this season in clutch games and is 100% clutch on the road against bad defenses over the past three seasons. He also leads the team in targets since his return to L.A. It turns out, there was nothing wrong with him last season; he was just a Chicago Bear.
Sit – Jordan Addison – GB vs. DAL
I’m sure your squad needs him, and you may have to start him, but if you can hold off, do so. Again, this game is in Ireland, and it may take a bit to knock the rust off. He’s also just 50% consistent on the road against a bad defense. Let’s also not forget the QB position has been a huge question mark as well.
Week 4 NFL Fantasy Start/Sits: TE
Start – Hunter Henry – NE vs. CAR
Henry has clutch games in two of his first three games of 2025 and is 83% clutch at home against bad defenses over the past three seasons. Drake Maye targeted him 11 times in Week 3 against Pittsburgh, resulting in 8 catches for 90 yards and two scores. The Panthers are the sixth-worst in allowing fantasy points to the position. Put Henry in your lineup.
Sit – Dallas Goedert – PHI @ TB
Goedert has recorded two clutch games, although one was a result of having one touchdown catch at a less-than-stellar position. The Bucs have been decent at defending tight ends and have yet to allow a touchdown to them. He’s only 25% consistent on the road against bad defenses, so if you have a better option, roll with them.
