It’s Monday night, and we have a prime-time matchup between the Lions and the Ravens tonight. So far, the NFL Week 3 Game of Fantasy Points this week was in Chicago with 8 Clutch Players. Will Detroit vs. Baltimore top that?
This week, there was a slight delay, and I wasn’t able to release the preview for this week’s games. So I’m doing something a bit different that might stick. This week, I’m reviewing NFL week 3 up to the Monday night game.
What I’m going to do is highlight the highest fantasy consistent projected matchups so far this week and see which games featured the most consistent players.
Furthermore, I’ll do a quick preview of Monday Night’s game for fantasy consistency and projections.

Notes from the Highest Projected Games
Our top four games with the highest projected amount of consistent fantasy players for NFL week 3 shook out mostly how we’d expect. Each of the four games featured at least six Clutch Players, and three of the four games had 45+ points scored.
13 of the 48 Positional 1’s (QB1, RB1, WR1, or TE1) came from these four games.
Despite the success of the other games, a lower-scoring affair in New England cost the technically highest projected consistent game from hitting expectations. In that game, Aaron Rodgers, Jonnu Smith, and Stefon Diggs were all underwhelming for fantasy purposes. All of that aside, perhaps the biggest frustration for all fantasy managers was TreVeyon Henderson, who had to watch as Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson combined for 3 fumbles. Losing CeeDee Lamb wasn’t fun either (expected to miss several weeks).
NFL Week 3 Monday Night Football, Lions at Ravens (-4.5)
Tonight’s matchup features two teams capable of lighting up the scoreboard with talented players. Additionally, Baltimore is ranked number 1 (40.5) and Detroit number 4 (32.5) in points per game this season.
In addition to those actual points, the projected player Clutch Games for tonight are 8, which is tied for the 2nd-highest this week. Accordingly, I have this game as my “Fantasy Game of Points Game of the Week” for the week. The reasoning for that is I think both teams will have 4-5 Clutch Players tonight.

Notable Injuries: DET – Shane Zylstra (TE, OUT), Marcus Davenport (DE, OUT), Jack Campbell (LB, Quest.), Taylor Decker (OT, Quest.), Kirby Joseph (SAF, Quest.), D.J. Reed (CB, Quest.)
BAL – Isaiah Likely (TE, OUT), Nnamdi Madubuike (DL, OUT), Patrick Ricard (FB, OUT), Kyle Van Noy (OLB, OUT), Jaire Alexander (CB, OUT)
Notably, there aren’t a ton of fantasy-relevant injuries here. Isaiah Likely would’ve been, but he hasn’t suited up all season and wasn’t expected to play tonight. Additionally, injuries to Nnamdi Madubuike and Kyle Van Noy aren’t great; however, Detroit’s not as good on the road as they are at home.
Due to that, the Ravens are the favorites, and I expect a big game from Lamar Jackson (1 of only 5 QBs to be perfect for Clutch Games through two weeks) and Derrick Henry tonight as the Ravens control the tempo. Detroit will press and try to keep up, so Goff should see plenty of attempts in a high-scoring shootout, although it won’t be enough; my final score prediction is 37-27 Ravens.
Monday days can be rough, but having a Monday Night Football game to look forward to is always awesome! Tonight’s game should be a good one, so let’s buckle up!
