It’s week 2, and this week we have a couple of games that look juicy for fantasy goodness. The week 2 game had a combined 9 clutch players from last week. How many are in your lineups?
Our Week 2 game article is upon us, and it looks like we’ve got some decent starting data points. As we view the schedule this week, a few games stand out as potential fantasy explosions. All things considered, my favorite this week is in New York. That’s where the Buffalo Bills are set to play the New York Jets!
I wanted to highlight some potential players who are on a hot streak for Clutch Games and could help your lineups this week. Some of the data researched includes, but is not limited to: Consistency, Weather, Game Location, Team Rankings, Historical Data, and Injuries.
Furthermore, fantasy managers find themselves chasing points, and I am here to help you all get ahead of the game (most consistent fantasy game expected). Additionally, I’ll point out what you need to know for the matchup of the week.

Fantasy Football Game of the Week – 9/12/2025 Fantasy Football: Consistency
Consistency Studs (>= 80% CR) & Matchup History
The week 2 game of the week features the Buffalo Bills visiting the New York Jets. Last week, these two teams combined to have 9 Clutch Game players, tied for the highest total of any two teams playing each other for week 2 (Chargers vs. Raiders also have 9).
Leading the way this week are the two QBs in this matchup, Josh Allen (QB1 last week) and Justin Fields (QB3). Both QBs are capable of high-end rushing production and have great floors this week. The consistency doesn’t stop there, as both teams have RBs who were RB1s last week as well, James Cook (RB4) and Breece Hall (RB11). Each of these running backs caught multiple passes this past week (2 for Hall and 5 for Cook) and is capable of breaking a big play at any time.
Clutch Rates (Season): Josh Allen (100%), Justin Fields (100%), James Cook (100%), Breece Hall (100%), Keon Coleman (100%), Khalil Shakir (100%), Joshua Palmer (100%), Garrett Wilson (100%), Dalton Kincaid (100%)
Despite both players being “Konami Code” QBs, both Allen and Fields supported at least one receiving option last week. The chemistry expected preseason from Fields and Garrett Wilson was on full display as Wilson finished the week as WR7. Even more impressive, Allen supported 3 WRs and even his TE as clutch players this week. Keon Coleman was WR2 on the week and earned an impressive 11 targets. Shakir and Palmer were tied for 2nd on the team with 9.
Being division rivals is big, but the fact that both teams scored more than 32 points last week (32 for the Jets and 41 for the Bills) shows these are explosive offenses. Due to those explosive offenses, I expect fantasy fireworks and a ton of Clutch Games in New York on Sunday.

Weather & Week 2 Game Location
The Weather in New York for gameday is projected to be 80 °F and partly cloudy. Correspondingly, wind gusts up to 9 mph are expected, and there’s a 5% chance of precipitation. The game is set to be played at MetLife Stadium, home of the New York Jets.
Weather: Good, with slight wind. Location: Rutherford, NJ
MetLife Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in East Rutherford, New Jersey. It’s located approximately 5 miles west of New York City. The Jets are 57-67 while playing there, since the 2010 season.
Odds, Injuries & Other Notes
The Bills are betting favorites heading into this game (-6), down 2.5 from the opening line. Additionally, the game has an over/under of 46.5, which is up 2 points from the open (the 4th highest).
Several notable players are on the injury report for the week, but the biggest names are probably Tre’Davious White and Sauce Gardner. They are the top corners for the Bills and the Jets. Without them playing, we could see an even higher score as Allen and Fields pick apart mismatches.

Notable Injuries: BUF – Ed Oliver (DT, DNP), Taron Johnson (CB, Limited), Shaq Thompson (LB, Limited), Dawson Knox (TE, Limited), Greg Rousseau (DE, Limited), Tre’Davious White (CB, Limited) NYJ – Kene Nwangwu (RB, DNP), Josh Reynolds (WR, DNP), Jay Tufele (DT, DNP), Michael Carter II (CB, Limited), Sauce Gardner (CB, Limited), Mason Taylor (TE, Limited)
A couple of interesting players could play due to injuries this week, the biggest may be the season debut of Allen Lazard. If Josh Reynolds is out, I would expect either Lazard or rookie WR Arian Smith to step into his role as the WR2.
For the Bills, was Week 1 a sign of things to come for their receiving room? With Allen having 46 pass attempts, it was clear Keon Coleman was the alpha target with his 11, but if the game is less pass-heavy, does that stay the same? Also, if Knox misses the game, does Kincaid have the same impact?
This game is teeming with fantasy potential. I could see 8+ players posting a Clutch Game for fantasy purposes this week. See you next week for the week 3 matchup of the week!
