Top 3 Bargain Wide Receivers for Your 2025 Fantasy Draft!

With Davante Adams joining the Rams and other talents flying under the radar, 2025 fantasy leagues are ripe for finding bargain wide receivers.

When it comes to fantasy football drafts, everyone is looking for the beloved sleeper, the top rookie, or this year’s breakout receiver. However, at the end of the day, we love finding value and getting consistent producers later than where they should be going in fantasy football drafts. Using fantasy football average draft position (ADP) data, I’ll uncover my three favorite bargains at the wide receiver position that you can’t miss in 2025!

Davante Adams, Los Angeles Rams – ADP: 27.5 (WR16)

Can we really say the WR16 in fantasy football drafts is a bargain? Yes, yes, we can. The Sean McVay offensive scheme and Matthew Stafford himself have supported multiple top wide receivers, and Adams has been money in the bank from a consistency standpoint over the past couple of seasons. Dating back to 2022, he’s posted clutch rates of 64%, 71%, and 76%, highlighted by an impressive 78% clutch rate once he got to New York with Aaron Rodgers in 2024.

Sure, Davante Adams is getting older, but he’s never won with elite speed, which makes me confident that he can produce in his early thirties (turns 33 in December). Per Fantasy Points’ Data Suite, take a look at some interesting stats from Adams’ 2024 campaign that saw him total 1,000+ yards and 8+ TDs for the fifth straight season:

• Of WRs with 400+ routes run in 2024, Adams ranked 11th in yards per route run and fifth in targets per route run.
• Of WRs with 100+ routes against man coverage, Adams ranked 17th in separation score, 14th in yards per route run, 4th in targets per route run, and 12th in win rate.
• Of WRs with at least 20 routes run in the red zone, he had the third highest win rate, and the league’s best targets per route run (small sample size, but worth noting).

While Adams is one of the best WR2s in fantasy football this season, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the fact that Puka Nacua plays a very physical brand of football, and oftentimes, you’ll see him hobble off the field or pop up on the injury report. I love Nacua as much as the next guy, but Adams is one [unfortunate] Nacua injury away from being the alpha WR1 for a quarterback who has orchestrated two of the best fantasy football seasons of all time for a wideout.

Michael Pittman Jr., Indianapolis Colts – ADP: 92.0 (WR50)

Yes, the quarterback situation is murky, but believe it or not, more Daniel Jones is actually better for Pittman. A competent quarterback who can deliver the ball (at times) is still better than Richardson through the air at this point! Pittman was a top-24 wide receiver in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and overall, he has a 60% clutch rate over the last four seasons. Sure, he was only 38% consistent in 2024, but he was 81% and 75% consistent in 2023 and 2022, respectively.

A back injury limited him last season, but he still ended the year with seven or more targets in all but one of his final seven games. I like Josh Downs as much as the next guy, but Michael Pittman had a higher average depth of target (aDOT) and more end zone targets than Downs last season.

Watch out for a healthy Pittman in 2025, and this price is far too cheap for a guy who has WR2 seasons with Carson Wentz (2021), Matt Ryan (2022), and Gardner Minshew (2023) as his primary quarterbacks.

Christian Kirk, Houston Texans – ADP: 120.5 (WR58)

Yes, the Houston Texans have Nico Collins. Yes, the Houston Texans added Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel on Day 2 of this year’s NFL draft. And yes, the Houston Texans underwhelmed on offense last season and have a new Offensive Coordinator in 2025. Say what you want about the Texans, but how is the presumed WR2 in a CJ Stroud-led offense going nearly outside the top 60 receivers? Tank Dell and Stefon Diggs combined for 1,163 yards on 98 receptions, and as much as I love Collins, he’s missed games in every season since being drafted.

Christian Kirk has had his fair share of injuries, but some of the more recent ones (groin tear, broken collarbone) are more fluky than deserving of an “injury prone” label. In the six seasons where Kirk has played in at least 12 games, in Half-PPR setups, Kirk has never finished worse than WR58, and he’s been inside the top-40 on three occasions. Injuries aside, he’s being drafted at his floor, and one could argue this could be the best offense in which he’s played!

We don’t fully know what the Nick Caley offensive scheme is going to be, but we can take a stab at it: Power run concepts like the Patriots ran during his time there, and concepts from the Sean McVay offense prop up multiple wide receivers with a ton of motion. At both stops (New England and Los Angeles), there has been notable production from the slot, and Kirk will begin the year as the primary slot receiver in Houston.

Despite being just 38% consistent last season, he had a clutch rate of at least 59% the two years prior, and I’d expect his consistency to be north of 55% this year. I understand the rookie love, but Kirk going after Jayden Higgins seems backwards. However, that presents a buying opportunity for us on Kirk, who has the contract year narrative on his side!
