Consistency in Fantasy Football is a crucial factor in helping Fantasy owners make more informed decisions about who to draft and who to start or sit during the season. If you’re new to the Consistency concept in Fantasy Football, I highly recommend reading some of the Introduction articles located on the home page. As a reader and follower of the site, we introduced everyone to this new concept last year.

The xConsistency Formula:
(Total Fantasy Points Scored / Total Games Played) X Clutch Rate
The xConsistency factor will separate players with similar Consistency but different Total Point Scores. And due to either fewer games or Clutch performances with fewer points scored. For example, let’s look at the Top 12 receivers last year with similar Clutch Rates:

It is surprising how Chris Godwin can be so high in the xConsistency rankings, but he’s always been one of the most consistent receivers and was on fire before his injury. He would be a great WR3 pick this season. Tee Higgins didn’t have his best season due to injuries and contract squabbles, but his tenth-place finish in xConsistency is just how good he can be if he plays all 17 games this year.
