Courtland Sutton – DEN (Overall ADP 110, 43rd WR drafted)
At BGFS we love us some Courtland Sutton. The problem is, he had had some issues in the past few seasons with injury. It also didn’t help to be part of the Russell Wilson experiment in Denver. 2024 has been a whole different year. Add in the success of OROY contender Bo Nix, and Sutton has rattled off a 75% clutch rating through Week 14. Sutton has quietly tallied Top 10 WR points, while being one of the more consistent options out there. He currently sits with 63 receptions for 846 yards and five scores. Sutton has been above 50 yards receiving in all but three games this season, and has seen at least five targets in all games but one, including double-digit targets in five of those contests. He currently owns a higher clutch rating than Tyreek Hill, Davante Adams, and Garrett Wilson to name a few.
2025 Outlook
He’s under contract for one more season in Denver, so there shouldn’t be much change other than his ADP. Look for the same number of targets, or perhaps more if Denver can add a consistent WR2 to take a bit of the pressure off.
Josh Downs – IND (Overall ADP 174, 67th WR drafted)
As a Colts fan it’s frustrating to see all of the misses in the draft over the Chris Ballard era. Downs, however, is one of the hits. Coming in at 70% consistent, he’s easily been the Colts’ most consistent receiver this season. He sits at 35th in total points, so he’s not producing huge totals, but if you can slot him in as your WR3 or flex, your team is probably sitting pretty. The targets have been there (7.7 per game, 77 overall) but the catch % only comes in at 68%. The latter is a direct result of inconsistent play at the QB position from Anthony Richardson. If you were able to land him late, well done! The rest of us are stuck with a 33% consistent Michael Pittman Jr.
2025 Outlook
The talent is evident, and he’s under contract for a few more years. It will be the third year for Richardson at QB, which is usually looked at as the make-or-break year for an NFL quarterback. Indy seems to not want to commit to the position, so there shouldn’t be much more competition in the WR room. We just want him to haul in more of those targets.
Jerry Jeudy – CLE (overall ADP 138, 56th WR drafted)
It wasn’t that long ago this guy was the 15th overall pick in the draft. It just never seemed to click for him in Denver, so he got himself shipped to Cleveland. It seems to be clicking there just fine, especially after Jameis Winston took over the reins. He sits at 69% consistent and is 12th in total points at the position. He’s seen at least six targets in every game except two and has a touchdown in three out of his last four contests. He’s the guy at the top of the depth chart in the ‘land.
2025 Outlook
Jeudy is under an extremely affordable deal for the next few seasons, so he should continue to be the WR1 in Cleveland. Much like Downs, who’s throwing him the ball will have the biggest impact on his production. Here’s to hoping they try to do something to get Watson out of town.
Jauan Jennings – SF (overall ADP N/A)
Jennings is easily the biggest free agent acquisition I made in any league. His 55% consistency isn’t at the top of our rankings, but he has come in clutch since the season ending injury to Brandon Aiyuk. He’s come through for his owners with two multiple TD games, as well as five games of at least 88 yards receiving, and five games of at least seven targets. Not bad for a guy that’s playing in an offense that is middle of the road when it comes to ppg. He’s been one of the biggest surprises of the season for fantasy owners.
2025 Outlook
Jennings will be back with the ‘Niners in 2025, but Aiyuk, Deebo, and Kittle will be too. Ricky Pearsall has also shown promise as a rookie. Someone could get dealt, but it’s unlikely to know which one. Jennings will be on fantasy radars, but it would suit him to go to a team where he had a clearer path to catches.
