What an explosion of offense on Monday night this past week! Well, I guess for everyone but the Jaguars (what’s going on with that team?). Keep reading and check out my weekly “Under the Radar” article which is designed to help you all find those hidden gems who are consistently scoring clutch games. Keep in mind that we’ve reached the time of the year when fantasy players who are paying attention start to separate from those who are “checking out”. Finding consistency is a constant effort, luckily, we have a ton of tools here at Big Guy Fantasy Sports that give you an edge over everyone else!
To DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) people make sure you’re checking out the podcast “DFS – Consistently Cashin’”!
QB Andy Dalton @CAR vs. CIN (Rostered 12%, Started 5% on Yahoo!)
The quarterback revival across the league continues to roll on. The newest addition coming back from the scrap heap is Andy Dalton, the Red Rifle. He got his chance this past week after Bryce Young was abysmal through the first two weeks of the season, Andy responded by posting 27.75 points in his first start of the season. To put that into perspective, Josh Allen, the current QB1 is averaging 26.40 points per game so far this year. Last year Andy got one start and scored 27.15 points in that game, his CR(Clutch Ratio) is 100% albeit in a very small sample size. Dalton is averaging 304 yards per game and 2.5 touchdowns in his two starts for the Panthers. Everyone truly believed that the Carolina Panthers were a dumpster fire and Bryce was a victim, but Dalton shocked the world last week by beating the Raiders at home. Fire him up with confidence moving forward as Andy should continue putting up consistent points, our FF Consistency Forecaster tool has Dalton projected for 18.45 points this week, and I believe he will be a borderline low-end QB1 for the rest of the season.
