QB Joe Flacco – @CLE vs. CHI (Rostered 21%, Started 9% on Yahoo!)
We’re turning back the clock on this one as the Cleveland Browns, after multiple shuffles (Deshaun Watson injury, P.J. Walker, and Dorian Thompson-Robinson inconsistencies), appear to have landed on a starting quarterback in Joe Flacco. The 38-year-old has only started two games so far this year but he’s sporting a 100% Clutch Ratio (CR, amount of consistently high-scoring games over total games played). Extrapolated over the full season so far Joe’s per-game average of 22.58 would have him ranked as QB5 overall, just ahead of Lamar Jackson. Our Fantasy Football Consistency Forecast has Joe coming in this week at 18.35 points and in Joe’s only other home game this year he scored 25.45 points. He’s a great bet to put up points this week against an average (AVG) rated Bears’ pass defense. Moving forward savvy fantasy managers who lost Justin Herbert recently would be well-suited to plug-and-play Joe for some consistency at the quarterback position.
