Well, after 2019, we thought the tight ends had regained some needed depth in their consistency overall, but 2020 totally trashed that idea and burned it alive! We had seen in the past couple of years, the number of tight ends incrementally increase in two categories: Number of TE’s over 200+ Fantasy Points and Number of TE’s over 65% consistency.
But last year, the tight end position gave some slight hope for some depth as we head into 2022, but having 10 tight ends earn at least a 65% or higher consistency rating. That was the highest number since 2019 when there were 11.
